Honest Review of ISME from a Current Student

Overall Rating
The overall experience in this college has been like an amusement park. Some things are bad whereas the rest are amazing. The college is a small one with 30 students in one class which makes it convenient to get attention from the teachers. There is availability of sports facilities that help a student be physically fit. There are Clubs and Mentoring sessions that the students can access. This helps in socialization, especially during beginning of college. People here are very friendly and helpful when approached.
 

Academics Rating
The course is a 3-year program with specialization in accounts and finance. You also get access to ACCA papers which is a professional degree. This will help in the academic growth of the student and enable them to increase their chances of getting placed. You should be a 12th pass to join the college. If you are passionate about finance, then this course is highly recommended.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is very friendly and approachable. They help out every student in their matters which they put forward. The classroom teaching style of teachers is very modern with the use of smart devices and AI. It ensures smart learning and allows students to get comfortable with the latest technology. All the teachers are from various professional backgrounds and they bring their top industry experiences along with them.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell present in the college and they help every student in their 3rd year to get training and be ready for placement interviews. There are special classes which are conducted in the 3rd year of the college. This helps the students to get sufficient training to excel in their placement interviews.
 

Hostel Rating
There is a hostel facility available inside the college campus. I do not have much idea as I don't stay in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has a modern infrastructure with a modern design. Classrooms have smart boards with a/c in the rooms. There is a library in the college which gives students access to newspapers and various books which they can borrow. There are also seminar halls and computer labs which help in the teaching process. There is an auditorium where all the functions and programs are conducted.
 

Campus Rating
The crowd of the students is very diverse with students coming from all over India as well as abroad. They are very friendly and approachable. There are 2 annual fests held every year along with events happening every month. There are also clubs and mentoring sessions which help in the overall development and social life of the student.

  • ISME fixes you and make you a material that is corporate ready

    ISME, Bangalore was great. Great because the college is unique in many senses. The admission process was simpler than many. You can process everything online and once the process is done, you just have to submit the cheque and once the cheque is cleared, you get your admit card. The fees was reasonable as MBA colleges or B-Schools today have over priced themselves. ISME is still reasonable considering the kind of facilities and teaching that they provide.     ISME offers a PGDM program that is industry oriented. The college accepts CAT, XAT, and MAT scores. Talking about B-Schools of Bangalore, there are plenty. IIM-Bangalore was beyond my capacity, so I'm coming down a bit, Christ University, St. Joseph's Institute of Management and Ramaiah Institute of Management are known for their MBA and PGDM courses.
