Overall Rating
Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Patiala, Punjab, India, is among the leading National Law Universities in the country. Set up by Punjab Government in 2006, it provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in law. Here's a look at the University. RGNUL has an active curriculum focusing on cases and interdisciplinary studies. Apart from offering a five-year fully integrated BA-LLB (Hons.) course, the university also offers an LLM with specializations.
 

Academics Rating
Very much Academic Oriented and the opportunities for research places and facilities. Active Student Bodies and Committees promote Overall Development of students. Most students feel Practical Exposure and Soft Skill Development are not provided enough. Students are very much involved in providing legal aid to the disadvantaged communities. There are many student committees that ensure that vibrant campus life is full of energy.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is a mixture of both experienced academicians and legal professionals. Like in other NLUs, the students do raise their voices against the teacher-student ratio and the need for more visiting faculty. RGNUL encourages participation among its state Moot Court Competitions. The mooting culture is that strong at the university, including events like the RGNUL Sports and Literary Fest.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In addition, RGNUL provides avenues for research and publication in journals and research centers. It provides an extremely peaceful setting that extends across 50 acres with modern infrastructure. A well-equipped library with innumerable books, journals, and online resources, a moot court halls and seminar room for practical legal training, hostel facilities for students, are the amenities provided in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
The happening campus life of RGNUL was unexpected as it is based in outskirts, but the transportation facilities are up to the mark despite being little expensive. Students keep going out of the college also the celebration of every festival makes festive season very memorable and enjoyable. RGNUL can also be termed as "party NLU". Also the party gives students a break.

    It is just one year until I graduate from my 5 year B.A.LL.B (Hons.) course from RGNUL and all I can say is that RGNUL has everything. From a campus which perplexes you from its beauty, and the exposure which you can find nowhere else.
