Life at KIIT

Overall Rating
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is a very good institute with varied courses under it. I chose this institute due to its evergreen environment and interactions with students from different parts of the world. It provides an all the necessities for a student to excel in his/her career.
 

Academics Rating
Institute offers many courses like B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Tech, Fashion, and many more. Under B.Tech courses are CSE, Mechanical, Civil, and many more. It has been ranked in top institutes in India as well as in world. For getting into KIIT, one must be 12th passed and should pass KIITEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very down to earth. They solve every student’s problem at whatever point of time. Faculties are very talented and have backgrounds from top NITs and IITs. There style of teaching is unique and its emphasis is mainly over practical knowledge rather theoretical one.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have placement cell at our institute and it helps students in whatever way possible.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities. It also has both options of AC and non-AC rooms but fee structure is different for both.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute is known for its huge academic blocks as well its infrastructure. There are around 20-30 building inside the campus premises. Buildings and classrooms are well equipped with AC and air ventilations are provided. Along with this, smart boards are installed in every class. It also provides books in the library for each semester, making it easy for students to read. Along with this has a central library, which runs 24/7. There are many more amenities available for helping students is every way possible.
 

Campus Rating
At Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, a student can experience campus life to its fullest. It organizes fests every year inviting popular celebs, stars, and heroes for enjoyment of students. It also has many societies to indulge students in extra activities apart from studies. It has societies like Tech, Film, Law, Literature and many more. Students are free to join these clubs according to their field of interest.

    The teachers and all other staffs are student friendly. Classroom is full clean and equipped with AC and smart board with Wi-Fi and white boards. It is furnished every day.     I am in first year of B.Tech CSE in KIIT School of Computer Engineering. Overall, the ambience is very open and refreshing. The campus is an open campus and people can go in and out of the college whenever they want. The campus being extremely large (6000 acres) makes it never ending for exploring. It is an extremely safe campus and security is good. It is very green and is covered with trees and plants adding to the ambience of the campus.
