Passionate Faculty at GCET Greater Noida

Overall Rating
Well, for me the college time has been a good ride till now. The first year might be a load but you'll get the hang of it, and in the meantime you would also be able to enjoy your College life. I recommend GCET Greater Noida to all the students interested in Engineering courses because this provides best facilities to study and grow.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing my B.Tech in Computer Science and enrolled in 2022 batch. The students can take admission in the college via counseling through their JEE Main scores. The College is old and thus renowned for its ranking in the AKTU colleges’ list. The college and the teachers do give much importance to the studies, which can sometimes be little pressurizing. In between the main semester exams there are mid terms. Students here need to maintain their time very skillfully.
 

Faculty Rating
As far as the faculty is concerned, College provides best possible teachers. In these 2 years, I've encountered merely a few teachers who are not good in explaining. The rest of the teachers have proper knowledge in the respective subjects and are good in explaining. We also have lab faculties, who help students with the lab tasks.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the College has a placement cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Well the College does provide hostel facilities in the campus. They have separate buildings for boys’ and girls’ hostel. For girls, hostels may be allotted in the University campus as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Honestly, I feel satisfied with the infrastructure of the College. Some students say it should have been bigger. Campus has several blocks from A to G, where classes are held for students with different courses and branches. The College also has well kept library and labs for students. The campus has a cafeteria. So, overall the infrastructure is quite good. The college also has sports area for Volleyball and Basketball.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus provides with the essentials of college life, although their still remains some needs and requirements to be met with. The College has several active clubs with rotaract club being one of them. GCET Greater Noida also holds party for Fresher’s. ‘Unifest’ is the main fest. During my 1st year, we also had some departmental fests. The different clubs also hold their respective events.

    Overall, college life in GCET Greater Noida is elegant. It is located at a nice place. The infrastructure and facilities are above average. There is a mall and a metro station just in front of college. Faculty members are very polite and they help you through your course. This college is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Engineering and Technology (AKTU). All semester exams are taken by AKTU.     GCET Greater Noida is well known for its infrastructure, faculty, and so others many facilities. If we talk about placement, it is descent and companies like Amazon, TCS, etc. gives placement. It is situated in prime location that is Knowledge Park metro station that gives you an edge at travelling. Overall GCET Greater Noida is the best college in the city.     As you enter the campus its feels like that you have entered in hi-fi college as the college have big campus with grounds, library and cafeteria. I have chosen this college as I got Fee Wavier in CSE core branch. Also, my friends taken admission in this college whose total fees is about Rs. 1,15,603 yearly which is much affordable than other colleges in Greater Noida.     The college is Well Developed and has proper infrastructure. The Professors are well educated and are supportive. The college has a big library and has many opportunities for all the students like students can participate in clubs and events and into extra curriculum activities like sports and singing and dancing and hackathons and many more.
