Overall Rating
Christ (Deemed to be University) Bangalore’s central campus was started in 1969 as Christ College. School of Law Christ University (SLCU) was established in 2006. Christ has four campuses in Bangalore, one each in Delhi and Pune. Many students choose this college because of its location and exposure that it provides. It has a vibrant and happening campus with full of greenery. SLCU Bangalore has more than 25 committees that organize events and competitions in different domains of law and its related areas.
 

Academics Rating
Its Bangalore branch has both BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) course. To get admission, one has to qualify Christ University Law Entrance Exam (CULEE) which is a MCQ test followed by a short interview. Earlier CULEE used to happen online completely, but now they have shifted to offline mode. You will be called to your nearest Christ campus for interview. In 2024, it secured the 15th rank in the NIRF’s 'Law' category, making it one of the premier universities in India.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are good here. The faculties are highly qualified holding doctorate degrees in their area of expertise. Their teaching methodology is highly effective for students. They bring organized PPTs and materials for comprehensive understanding of the concepts. They also conduct various activities in class to make sessions engaging and easy to grasp the concepts.
 

Placement Rating
Many tier 1 and tier 2-law firms offer placements during its campus drive. Around 70% of students are placed at School of law, Christ university. Highest package of a student placed in the year 2023 was 13.5 Lakh Per Annum and average package offered by the university is 7 Lakh Per Annum.
 

Hostel Rating
SLCU Bangalore has hostels for both boys and girls inside the campus. All of them have quite decent sized rooms. You cannot take room for single person, only sharing rooms are available. Rooms are much spacious and even the fee is quite minimal. Mess facility and study hall is also available. However, it has its curfew timing of 9 PM and you have to mark attendance twice a day for safety purposes.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Christ University Bangalore has a well-developed infrastructure with modern facilities across its campuses. There are two libraries, one specific library for Law department called as Knowledge Centre. The campus has many cafeterias. There are 2 basketball courts and a playing ground as well. There are total 4 to 6 blocks in the whole campus, each having vending machines for quick refreshments for students.
 

Campus Rating
Christ Bangalore stands as one of the best private universities across the country. A number of events and fests are conducted each year by the committee. Few of them are Blossoms, Ethnic Day, Denovo, and Darpan. Different departments mount stalls in the campus displaying their skills through innovative products. Overall, the campus creates a very dynamic and vibrant environment making a good campus life.

    I heard about Christ from my schoolteachers and my seniors. All of them said it is a very good college for Commerce students in Bangalore. The same also influenced my mother and because of that, I was keen to join the college.     I chose this University as it is easily accessible to me. Moreover, it is top private University for Law in Karnataka. This University comes in top 13 Law colleges in India, even above some of the NLUs. The campus is great, clean, and green, which makes it even more appealing to enroll here.     The university is very well reputed and has a great brand value. I would not say that it lives up to the hype, but it definitely is a fine university. I am from the Psychology department and I find the course structure and the faculty above average. One thing that stood out to me about this college on my first day was the campus.
