Well-trained faculties

Overall Rating
I was admitted into this college through EAPCET in the year of 2021. I first got into the college and got to know that strict precautions are taken against ragging. Rest of the years of college went quickly with fests and events. Overall, it has been a good experience.
 

Academics Rating
Coming to academics, our department had a bunch of very well-experienced faculty who knew how to make people like us understand complex things. It helped us with our tests and end semester exams. There are dedicated PPT files for each unit and it helped a lot.
 

Faculty Rating
Almost all the faculty, in our department specifically, are well trained. There are faculties who became our friends and with some, the interactions were not that great. There were mentors who helped us through our projects, exams and tough syllabus. Overall, it was a nice experience.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a Placement Cell that controls all the data regarding the people attending the pre-placement selection exams and on & off campus exams for placements. Throughout the 4 years, there are periods every week where staff from the Cell teaches us to make us ready for placement exams.
 

Hostel Rating
I stayed in the hostel provided to us by the college itself. The infrastructure is pretty good because we were some of the starting batches for the hostel and it was built only a few years back. The food is average but recently the prices have gone up after the college is now deemed to be university. I would say visit the hostel first and then join in.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Out of all the blocks, I would say that my favorite one is the library where we could get books (two per head) for almost two weeks. I love to read, and I would always lend some books. Then coming to our block, it has everything, including functioning labs, work and AC rooms. There's a water dispenser as well. So, it has been good.
 

Campus Rating
There are two main fests in Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College which are the annual day celebrations and the AFOSEC is an annual fest. The crowd is unreal for both of these events, but I would always prefer the AFOSEC. It feels good that there are a ton of stalls both from actual vendors and students so there's a healthy competition.

    VR Siddhartha Engineering College appears to be one of the first most prominent Engineering Colleges situated in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
