Review on Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata

Overall Rating
The reputation of the University is impressive and that attracted me the most.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in B.Tech Computer Science course. The eligibility criteria for the same is that one must score maximum 75% in High Secondary. They have their own merit exam. Students need to attend that and pass it. Then they will be called for an interview and after interview they will be shortlisted. Afterwards they will be given a form and said to submit it along with the course fee.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very experienced and have strong academics. They treat us like their own child. They encourage us to participate in every competition. They also solve complex topics very easily and teach us the same with utmost clarity. The teachers help us in every assignment and encourage us to face every problem. There are very polite.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of the college is very reputable than other colleges. Students having CGPA 8 -9 got High packages and get internship in 3rd year. The minimum eligibility for internship and placement is 8-9 CGPA along with maximum 75% in higher secondary. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Godrej, Whirlpool, TCS, etc. Companies visit us every year and offer very impressive jobs.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel of the college is very homely. The hostel has attached bathroom and balcony in every room. They have bus facility to travel from hostel to college and vice-versa. They give lunch to the students in afternoon during classes. The hostel shuts down at 8pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is so impressive. There are libraries, lab, gym, hostels, canteen, etc. There is Wi-Fi enabled campus for every students. The whole building feels like a palace. The labs are organized with modern computers and other instruments. We collect our study materials and other books from the library free of cost.
 

Campus Rating
The campus Life is so much fun. We enjoy being in campus by playing games like cricket, basketball, football, doing NCC, etc. The campus is so beautiful and it feels like a park. After college hours we relax in the hostels. We enjoy our lunchbox with friends in the campus and other college students also join us.

    My overall experience has been pretty good till date. Majority of the faculty members are really friendly and are very helpful and approachable. The campus is also pretty well maintained. Our campus is a ragging free campus, and it has strict rules against it. The classrooms are of pretty decent size, each equipped with smart boards.
