I came here to pursue my bachelor's degree. The professors are very encouraging and helpful, they informed us about internships and even helped us connect with seniors in the institute, in case we needed guidance. I was not expecting to see any company for placement, but our branch did receive many companies including Accenture. The institute environment is very good and there are lots of opportunities for extracurricular activities, seminars, hackathons, societies, etc. Yes, it's a private institute but amongst many private institutes this one definitely proves its worth. Bhubaneswar is a good city as well and many facilities are easily available and also affordable. KIIT also has its hospital KIMS, and students can get easy and cheap checkups there. Hostels are well-maintained and Wi-Fi is provided 24x7.

KIIT conducts its own entrance exam. Interested people can check out the KIIT website for registration, course information, eligibility, etc. The admission department can also be reached out via phone or email, and they are very responsive. One of the best things is that the entrance exam is free of cost, so if someone is unsure, they can still sit in the entrance exams, it won't cost any money.

Most faculty members are Ph.D holders with many years of experience and have released a lot of research papers as well and are internationally recognised. Students can reach out to the teachers easily and if they want extra help, they can ask for doubt clearance class without any hesitation. Teachers are very supportive and informed about the current job market.

Hostels are available for students.

Every department has their own campus as well as academic blocks. There are plenty of AC classrooms, labs, a library, gardens, etc. The central library is open for all and 24x7 for boys. There's a research facility and a new one is under construction at the moment. Buses are also functional for commuting, and it is free of charge.

Campus life is fun and exciting. There are plenty of opportunities, people just need to take those opportunities and put themselves out there. We have institute fests and very famous artists perform here like Sunidhi Chauhan, Nucleya, Jubin Nautiyal, etc. KIIT conducts many alumni talks, seminars, orientations for the students to attend.
