Top-notch environment of GCET

Overall Rating
My experience in GCET college is pretty good. I got admission in this college by clearing a tough entrance exam and also the placement opportunities are bright. The reason behind choosing this college are well-experienced faculties who graduated from IITs, NITs and many other prestigious institutes.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Electronics and Communication Engineering from this college and the branch is included in the top most colleges. For admission in GCET, you have to score good marks in JEE, GUJCET and in Gujarat board if you are from Gujarat.
 

Faculty Rating
We have many faculties in our branches. All faculties have been a part of our college since 1998. Almost all the faculties have 18-20 years of experience in teaching. They have a great expertise in their respective field and completed Ph.D. Their teaching style is easily understood by the students, and we also get tons of knowledge from them.
 

Placement Rating
We have a Placement Cell which has acquired a huge space at the ground floor of the college. From the start of 7th semester, various companies start visiting the campus for recruitment and we also get training from our Placement Cell which helps us to develop required skills and crack the interview. The college placement ratio in this branch is greater than other colleges.
 

Hostel Rating
Our college has residential facilities. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. It was renovated just a year ago. All the rooms are big and clean. Also, air conditioner facilities are available. The mess meal is good enough to eat. There are many tournaments held at boys’ and girls' hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college's campus is a little bit small, but we do have a basketball court, cricket ground and many other sports facilities. Also, in our campus, there are many types of flowers which are pleasant to the eyes. The infrastructure of the building is a little bit older and there are various academic blocks as well.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs running in our college like IEEE, youth clubs and many more. Also, many activities and festivals are organized in our college. One of the best events is Imaze which is held once a year. We have many technical and non-technical games and DJ nights with big names like actors and stars.

    Overall the college is average. To get good opportunity, you have to work hard no one is going to spoon feed you. In my branch (computer) there are a lot of opportunities off campus too. In on-campus placement for computer student, you will get an average package, which is not so good but it would work for a fresher.... Read Full Review

    Choosing G H Patel College for your carrier was good before but not right now because they have started their own university. the other thing is that there is biasness between the field you choose like if you choose chemical field, it would be hardest for you to cop up because all other fields professors are cooperative but chemical field professors are very strict, they will make you just focus you on studies no extra activities....   • GCET is not worth the fees that they demand

    GH Patel College of Engineering and Technology has more negatives than positives and thank God, I am doing this review after 3 years of my passing out from this college. First of all, an ACPC rank of below 3k is required to get admission in GCET. If you need the best of students then at least get the best facilities and faculties. One other common problem that is associated with GTU students is that we are not provided any internship opportunities and if we fail to get campus placement, we hardl... Read Full Review

  • GCET has the best infrastructure
     

    Overall Rating
    From self-finance institutes of Gujarat, GCET Vidyanagar is the best. The mechanical branch out of which is the one which has less seats in comparison to other colleges and the one that gets filled the first. GCETians today are working in top companies of UK, US, and Germany. GH Patel College of Engineering has been awarded the best engineering college of West Zone and rightly so as the college has that element that others don’t.
