Personal experience at IMSEC

Overall Rating
My overall experience at IMSEC is quite good. It is one of the leading private engineering colleges located in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. IMSEC provides you an environment to study effectively and learn new skills. Faculties are very supportive and have friendly behavior with students. Making students well skilled is the top priority of this college.
 

Academics Rating
Currently I am pursuing B.Tech and my branch is computer science and engineering with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning. There are 2 ways to enroll in this course first, based on your intermediate marks in PCM only. You must have scored above 75%. Second, you must have participated in JEE mains and then you can get admission through AKTU counseling. My motive for enrolling in this program is to have good knowledge about artificial intelligence.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good and well experienced in their respective subjects. Most of the faculties have Ph.D degree and are well experienced. Faculties have friendly behavior towards students. Style of teaching differs from teacher to teacher. Every faculty has a different teaching style. They explain every topic by giving real life examples and try to explain topic practically.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, IMSEC has a placement cell. A special training program is organized every year to train students properly for interview.
Average package is around 5 to 6 lakhs and many companies and startups visit college every year.
 

Hostel Rating
I do not reside in hostel but I get to know from one of my friends that hostel room is good but a bit expensive. Both AC and non AC rooms are available. The food from mess is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 blocks in the campus. A block is for first year students, B block is for mechanical and electronics branch students and mainly has labs. A canteen and a library are also available. Classrooms are well maintained and have enough space. Most of the classrooms have projectors. Playground is big enough to play basketball, volleyball and it also has a cricket pitch. Currently academic buildings are in good condition.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is above average. Many fests are organized every year. College invites a famous personality every year to visit college like singer Parmish Verma, etc. A fresher party is also organized every year for freshers. There are various clubs like IT club, IOT club and many more. Various sports activities are also organized.
