Overall Rating
Overall Institute is good. Teacher is highly qualified. Mostly every teacher has masters or PhD degree. Classrooms are very neat and clean with a digital board and AC. Institute has Wi-Fi and good canteen.
 

Academics Rating
Institute is autonomous means it is under Mumbai University but it has its own rule. Each semester consist of 5-6 subjects. There is 2 mid semester exams and 1 end semester exam. To get admission in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Mumbai, you need to clear MHCET or JEE Main. Minimum of 75 percentile is needed for Biomedical; 80-85 percentiles are required for Electronics and Telecommunication, and above 93 percentile for IT/CS branches (percentile changes each year). I am from EX-TC department and if you are passionate about Chip Designing, VLSI, and PCB, this branch is for you.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very experienced. Mostly, every teacher has Masters or PhD degree. Each subject has 2-3 teachers. Each teacher has his/her own teaching style. Some are very strict and some are very friendly. You can clear your doubt in lecture or after lecture in staffroom, Some teachers also give important question and question bank for exam preparation.
 

Placement Rating
Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has a placement cell. Only very few students get jobs. it may be because of many reasons like some opt for Masters (abroad), some prepare for government exam, some joins family business and some prepare for GATE. Average package of institute is around 3-4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Jio, Wipro, etc. offer many job roles each year. Mostly, there is a demand of DSA and database, where few only really crack the job role.
 

Hostel Rating
Institute does not have hostel facility. There are many PGs, flats and other residential settings near the campus. Students can also asks teachers for assistance in finding accommodation.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Institute’s infrastructure is very good. It is divided into main campus and M-block. Entrance looks very prestigious. It has a computer lab with Mac books. It has 2 canteens and 1 Nescafe. However, food is little expensive but quality is just good. Each floor has a washroom, which is very modern and clean. There are 3 lifts and each floor has both theory rooms and labs. At entrance, there is A block where all the works related to administration takes place. Each department has its own departmental office where you can go and discuss any type of issue or topic.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Timings of classes here 8 AM to 6PM. there are many fests and activities that happen each week and any student can participate. Crowd is very good. There are many clubs in institute, which are handled by students itself e.g., ITSA, ETSA, IEEE, GDSE, Aerospace, etc., which are funded by institute. Students get exposure of various things and can learn many things by participating in such clubs and events.

    Vidyalankar Institute of Technology is located in Wadala (E), Mumbai. It is considered top in Mumbai top 7 colleges through MHTCET. Currently, I am pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (EXTC). It is 4 years Degree. I got this institute through my MHTCET percentile in 2023. Till now I have a good experience in this institute. I have another option too, but I chose VIT over it because of its autonomy curriculum which makes more practical approach towards industry. What made me chose this institute for engineering is its placement record and infrastructure. Institute provides great amenities and facilities. Labs are cleaned and maintained.     Just one word…‘FANTASTIC’. My one year at vidyalankar was fantastic in every aspect. This Institute has very supportive faculty who guides us at every point of time with every difficulty that we face. It has the best state of art infrastructure so far.     I Don't know about others but my CET percentile was 90, so at this percentile for me VIT was best option.
