Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering is Overall a Good College

Overall Rating
I actually wanted to choose Biomedical Engineering and it's not available in most of the colleges until I found this college. Also it's the nearest college I can found and it was affiliated to Anna University which is a great university.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria are 12th board exam passed with more than 50% marks. The course I choose is Biomedical Engineering. It is a good course and has a lot of job opportunities in both hospitals and industries. Those who want to work in hospitals even after taking Computer Science in 12th class can apply. This is newly introduced course due to which it has its own difficulties also. Those who want to choose something different from others can choose this course.
 

Faculty Rating
The facilities are very good. They provide all kinds of notes and laboratories. The classes are conducted using projectors. They are trying the most to improve teaching through conducting seminar and also through industrial visits and all.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell. The students are able to attend campus interview during their 7th semester onwards.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel has been renovated and provides new facilities such as washing machine, etc. The food provided in the hostel mess is average
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of college is superb, it’s actually very beautiful. Libraries and everything is available in these two blocks. The college premises are neat and clean. College provides many facilities such as canteen, lift, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Different programs are organised in the college such as cultural events, annual day, sports day, hostel day, yoga day, etc. But at the same time they give importance to studies so they conduct symposium also. There are many clubs introduced such as NSS to improve social life of students. Most of the students are from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Bihar so they organise all cultural events such as Onam, it is the biggest celebration in our college and is been celebrated on September and Pongal is also celebrated in January.
