I am in first year at Galgotias College of Engineering. It is situated at Greater Noida Knowledge Park-2. Overall, our campus is amazing. We have proper functioning labs and workshops. The only thing that bothers me is study pressure over first year students

Galgotias College of Engineering has so many courses and branches... B.Tech, MBA, BBA and all of them have their own admission criteria. Students must attain 60% in PCM and Maths as compulsory subjects in 11-12th. For B.Tech course, students need to appear in JEE entrance exam and then take part in AKTU counseling. It has multiple branches and most respected one is CSE. If students want to enjoy proper engineering life with study and fun, then this college is the one.

Some faculty is chill. All branches and even semester wise classes have different faculties. I observed that some faculties are actually great. They teach superb. At the same time, they are chill.

Our college has proper placement cell. Students need to maintain CGPA of above 7.5 to be able to grab the great opportunity in good company. Average package is around 5 LPA. However, it all depends on students and their ability to grab offers and opportunities. Maximum package is 44 LPA.

Yes, Galgotias College of Engineering provides hostel facilities. They are cleaned regularly but it cleanliness mainly depends upon the students residing there. Wardens are strict with the rules and regulations. Students need to be inside the hostel till 9 PM. Until then, they are allowed to go anywhere in the campus. Our hostel has 24×7 Wi-Fi (though, there are some issues with its speed). Our hostel has a wending machine from which you can buy chips and wafers. GYM facility is also available. hostels have limited rooms. Every student will get their own cupboard and study table. Ragging is really banned.

In terms of infrastructure, our college has really nailed it and especially in C & D Block. I was so amazed to see its infrastructure. It especially focuses on greenery and cleanliness. Every single block has its own aesthetic with lush green plant and 2 huge grounds. Our campus has amazing library as well, in which there are separate study and computer rooms.

Campus life is average. It conducts lots of fests and events. There are many clubs as well. for example: LOOP(Coding Club) which is one of the best club ,ChitraShala (Art Club), LingoFreaks (Literature Club), Kalakriti (another Art Club), Stage Management Club (SMT),Quizzard ( Quiz Club), and Fragg Clubs (Gaming Club which even gone to Malaysia for Gaming Competition). One of the best fests is ‘Unifest’. Fresher’s party is also organized for the new comers. In 2022, Our college invited Raftaar in fresher’s party. In addition, so many other celebrities are also invited in other fest. So overall, students will enjoy campus life with respect to their studies.
