Except the faculties 'BFIT' is quite good. The staff at BFIT is slow in processing. Self-study will be your biggest weapon at BFIT as students teach less and lazily while they talk more about other things than studies. Placement wise also, in BFIT money is everything if you want a placement interview. Overall Infrastructure of the College is awesome and other facilities like gym, medical facilities, library, and auditorium are all good. The College does need to look out for keeping the campus more hygienic and maintained.

One primary thing a business school student should be expert of is managerial skills. BFIT earlier promised to conduct extracurricular activities and workshops but did nothing as it said. Faculties themselves suggest that we should try to be more practical about our knowledge and not just blindly follow books. Saying this, they don't even teach properly, reading slides in lectures and not explaining it. In my opinion academics at BFIT VV might have a lot of scope for improvement that they should do for a student's future. During exams, we are given different hypothetical situations and asked what we would have done in that situation. To be honest, this develops a sense of awareness and silly mistakes can be avoided. Such activities should be arranged more frequently.

Faculties at BFIT are very friendly humans. Most of them are talkative and helpful. In the BBA course, we need to focus more on general, real or practical knowledge than being a bookish worm. To make us more aware about the management, our faculties themselves must have corporate or any other field experience; then only they can pass the knowledge to us. BFIT has faculties in which very few are experienced while most of them are new. Some of them also lack regular teaching skills and are not updated with the syllabus. BFIT should look into these matters as due to this students are more burdened with self-studies.

Active cell for placement in DBS trains students to crack toughest interviews of any company only if you're the one paying double fees; otherwise, forget about getting a placement. The College rants about students getting placed in this or that company, but in reality, they pay double fees for getting a placement interview. This dark truth behind the placement cell needs to be exposed. As the internship ends in the third semester, companies start to visit the campus for recruitment. Even before the results come, some students have offer letters in their hand. The contract is signed by the companies from students in the campus itself. Companies prefer students with certification courses and placement fees. That's why many students go for startups or some go for higher studies or certification courses.

Hostel building has gone old as it was built way back and no proper maintenance is managed by the College. I wonder what they do with the hostel fees given by students. The facilities provided are also not very good. The hostel condition is somewhat unhygienic. The hostel is kept only for students who come from different states or villages. Those students who are proper from Dehradun are not given any hostel facilities.

One of the rare faculties provided by BFIT in the campus is 24*7 medical facilities. BFIT takes special interest in sports as it arranges tournaments weekly or monthly. There is a special building in the campus only for laboratories and other buildings are given to different departments. BFIT has two libraries stocked with many books. They have a good collection of academic books. Campus has a playground in addition with a basketball court and also a spacious parking area for students and faculties. All the events, competitions and festivals are held in the auditorium which is big enough to accommodate a huge number of students. Canteen facilities are also available, though food is average.

Many different festivals are celebrated on campus by different students who are from different states. Most of the students take enthusiastic participation in all the festivals. While the Infrastructure of BFIT is amazing, there are many spaces where the College needs improvement, but that doesn't stop any student from having less of a College life. A 2-day annual festival is celebrated every year named "Rangreza". During the fest, celebrities are invited to visit and interact with students; different cultures are celebrated during cultural day and many more programmes are arranged for students and also by students.
