Life in SRMCEM Lucknow

Overall Rating
The campus facilities are excellent and the teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. I chose this course because it can help me gather more knowledge and help me get my dream job. This course is beneficial because SRMCEM can help me get government jobs. The frequency and timing of exams along with your perspective on their difficulty level was good as we get sufficient time for all our exams.
 

Academics Rating
In Civil Engineering, you can prepare for government exams, or go for higher studies. There will be quizzes just like 2 quizzes every week to get you know where are you standing in that particular unit so you can judge yourself. For the students who cannot score upto the mark there are extra classes took.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very good and supportive. They help in our placement activities and in our exams. They are also supportive..
 

Placement Rating
From 7th semester, students become eligible for placement and companies starts coming. TCS, Wipro, Infotech, and many more companies. 5 LPA is an average package that companies are offering to students. 60 to 70% students are placed and in core branches placement are slight low.
 

Hostel Rating
Meal is average in our mess. It provides us seasonal vegetables. Along with that at night, they gave us some sweet. Once in a month they gave special dinner. On Wednesday and Friday, it gives eggs and milk on a daily basis. If you want to take PG, there is one PG outside at 6000 INR per month rent.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is a good social environment. Our college's infrastructure is average, so it also needs be too improved in college campus, there are many buildings divided in blocks. All courses books available in the huge college library. Each department also has departmental library. In addition, there are sports facilities is available for the students.
 

Campus Rating
Our campus life is good. There are two fests: one is cultural fest, Abhivyakti and other is technical fest, Anvarat. We also have many clubs for everyone according to their interests. A sports fest also occurs every year with lots of energy and enthusiasm. We also have well equipped library with almost every book of our courses.

  • My experiences at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management

    I chose this course because I am highly interested in programming and the tech sector. The faculty here is also good. They guide you from making notes to giving exams. There are 7-8 faculty members in this department and the students per semester are 60-65. The teaching method is based on how the students understand the topic.     Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCEM) in Lucknow has been a fantastic experience for me. The campus facilities are excellent and the teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable. What impressed me most are the placement opportunities – big companies regularly visit for hiring.
