My experience at CGU

Overall Rating
I feel that the university is good for the students who want to sincerely study. The course curriculum is good and is according to industry trend. The university has a good NIRF ranking and the faculties are Ph.D qualified. They teach very well and provide required study materials.
 

Academics Rating
The university has many courses such as B.Sc, B.Tech, B.Pharm, BBA, M.Sc, M.Tech, B.Sc in Agriculture, MBA, BCA, MCA, Diploma, Polytechnic, etc. The admission to the university is through two ways which is either qualifying JEE Main or University Entrance Test. The motive to join this university is to acquire knowledge and skills and get a good placement.
 

Faculty Rating
C. V. Raman Global University provides good academic support to students who want to study. The faculty is qualified with Ph.D degree and teaches really well. Some of the teachers are a bit strict but maximum teachers are friendly and helpful. Their methods make topics easy to understand by giving real life examples and application of the topics.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our university has a Placement Cell.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the hostel infrastructure is very good, but the rules are bit strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Yes the infrastructure is beautiful with excellent engineering. The show stopper is the pool area in the administrative building. All departments have their separate buildings to overcome overlapping. The university is full of greenery with many lawns and cafeterias, food courts, a vast Library with large collection of books for each department.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is average because the schedule here is very hectic, we take our time out from the busy schedule to spend some time with friends. Fests and events are conducted quite a few times.

    Overall college is very good. Campus and infrastructure is also good. Placement is decent with average salary of 6 LPA. Admission process is very easy and also fee is very low as compared to other universities of Odisha. Hostel is also good and mess food is decent. Faculties are very friendly.... Read Full Review

    The institution is not too good or too bad. From the academic point of view, it's like other colleges in Bhubaneswar. I chose this college because I wanted to pursue mechanical engineering which I heard is particularly good in this college, which is true to a certain extent. The college premises are big and roomy, there aren't many buildings and the area is quite open. But this comes at certain costs; the college is located far away from Bhubaneswar, near Mahura which comes under Khurda district... Read Full Review
