My Views on Puducherry Technological University

Overall Rating
Puducherry Technological University is one of the best universities in Puducherry (Pondicherry). It is best for the students as it is a government university. It is way better than any college in Pondicherry because it has some high standards in its curriculum and it is a great institution.
 

Academics Rating
The students of Puducherry Technological University admitted through two types, that is students can get enrolled with the help of their 12th marks or JEE score. The students who are taking admission through 12th standard marks are required to apply for JOSAA.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are well educated and most of them hold Ph.D in their respective fields. Most of the faculties here have more than 10-15 years of experience in the field of teaching engineering students. There will be many lecture hours conducted by them to complete the syllabus. There are plenty of teaching and non teaching faculties here.
 

Placement Rating
Puducherry Technological University has a separate training and placement cell for the students to get placed in a good company with a good package. Here the students can attend the placements after completing the 6th semester exam. The average package for placement is around 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum.
 

Hostel Rating
There are three boy’s hostel and one girl’s hostel in Puducherry Technological University. The hostel food is very average in taste and the rooms are above average. Girls should be inside the hostel before 6:30 P.M. (approx.) and the boys should be inside the hostel before 7:00 P.M. (approx.).
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Puducherry Technological University is very good compared to other colleges in Puducherry. The buildings are quite good and the classrooms are very spacious. There is a big auditorium which accommodates around 700 to 800 peoples in it. It is also used for organising different events.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life in Puducherry Technological University is very good. it has a wide area around 200 acres of land and the university has many clubs in it for example design club, photography club, literary club, etc. There is a big fest of our university which is the annual fest which is named as Rejouir, which is organised in the month of March every year.

    Overall Rating
    Pondicherry Engineering College is heaven for the students who step into college for their Bachelor's Degree. I chose Mechanical Engineering through CENTAC Merit results. Here mechanical is widely considered and placements are also up to the mark. I recommend other students who completed their HSC, to choose Pondicherry Technological University for their higher studies so that they get an enormous amount of knowledge in their respective degrees....   • A brief review of PEC
     

    Overall Rating
    Life at PEC would be a more fascinating one because of the freedom provided there for the students. They would get detailed knowledge on their respected course they choose. The most important thing which attracted mine was their method of teaching. The teachers here are PHD hence they will provide all their knowledge to us. Each year PEC will be conducting sports activities and cultural events so that students can participate and win which would increase the interest in college life. So overall ... Read Full Review
