Decoding the Academics of Government College of Pharmacy

Overall Rating
I personally chose Government College of Pharmacy because it has the 'government'. My experience with this college has been alright. The campus is satisfactory and the infrastructure is old. The classes are fine as well, no bells or whistles. The teachers are good and overqualified for particular course. If you only prioritize the education, go for this college.
 

Academics Rating
You can get a seat in this college by getting a good score in the NEET exam or by giving MHTCET examination. I personally scored some 98 percentile in MHTCET exam. B.Pharm requires a period of 4 years for completing the course.
 

Faculty Rating
As mentioned earlier, the faculty is best thing about Government College of Pharmacy. They give their level best to teach you particular concept of the subject. Most of the teachers teach through white board and through PDFs and some use the projector as well. They have respectable degrees as well and pretty qualified in my opinion.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell is average. Senior teachers will help students to avail jobs in the industry. If you only complete B.Pharm you will not have much opportunities for jobs, you have to complete your post graduation to get a job with a good salary.
 

Hostel Rating
I personally am a day scholar but based on my friends' review, they are satisfied with the hostel as it is newly constructed.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is old. Although the ground and garden is renovated. The academic blocks are good. The campus is moderate spacious. It has recently built a new GYM in the centre ground of the college. The greenery is another good thing about campus.
 

Campus Rating
I personally do not take part in extracurricular activities because I am more of an introverted person. Nevertheless, from what I have seen in my 3 years of studying in college, the seniors and juniors have a good interaction and there is no ragging at all. All the students of different classes come together to make any fest or function enjoyable.
