My Experience in MITS, Gwalior

Overall Rating
My experience is quite good in Madhav Institute of Technology and Science and its memory is going to last forever in my life. I chose this institute because of it is a government institute. It also has a decent fee structure so I went for it
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing B.E. in Civil Engineering. Its eligibility is that you must have a valid JEE score. If you do not given the JEE exam then there is an institute level counseling which is held after completion of all counseling process that happens online. It is held in institute campus (offline) in which you can even get admission on 12th marks basis.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are well experienced and their higher education is mostly completed from IIT. They are supportive if you attend the lectures and give time to your study. Mostly, they are from the IITs that we once dreamed to be a student off. They teach us very well unless we disturb them.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not that good but still it is satisfactory. The institute does its best but still less than 50% students were placed on campus (last year).
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is newly built and all the facilities are there. We are allowed to walk through the institute until 10 PM. in early morning, we used to go to the ground for sports. The mess food is something that needs to be good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MITS, Gwalior consists of old buildings having departments of the branches that are offered since the starting of the institute. Some new structure is also built, creating space for new department likes Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. There are also some buildings that are under construction now.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is not bad. You can join music club or other clubs for extra activities. Crowd is there because seats are increased now. Feats are organized very rarely in the campus due to the chances of collapse. It also offers the perfect vibe that you want during the winter season.

    Madhav Institute of Technology and Science is a prestigious Institution whose tales and experience have travelled far and wide. As a student currently studying in this college I have a firsthand experienced the facilities and benefits it offers to student.     MITS Gwalior is a considerable college only when you can't get into an NIT, and also don't want to waste a year taking a drop for JEE exam. It is one of the best colleges in Gwalior with good connectivity from the railway station and airport. It is located in the center of the city so you can always enjoy out of campus without waiting for Sundays.... Read Full Review

    Overall, MITS Gwalior has received excellent reviews. Since MITS Gwalior is a government college with a high ranking in Madhya Pradesh (as per Madhya Pradesh's AICTE ranking, which places them third) and they have excellent teachers, a large campus, and excellent infrastructure.
