Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Bhubaneswar is a place, where you can rediscover yourself and your goals. It is surely a place to make big and good connections, as it has a big alumni network and the best curriculum for everything. There are societies for each extracurricular activity like music, dance, drama, and debate. You'll get enormous opportunities to prove yourself and build your confidence. I personally chose this institute because of the infrastructure and facilities it possesses in the sports field. As I was quite interested in cricket; you should see the number of cricket fields and the huge stadium it has for itself. So, if you want to learn something and do something in your life not necessarily the traditional job, which you're here for but want to achieve something else too, you should choose this institute.

There are almost all the courses available starting with B.Tech, which was my degree. If you want to get admission here, you need to pass your 12th with at least 50% marks and then you can get here by giving KITEE or JEE Main. There are courses like BBA, MBA, BCA, and MCA. My motive to enroll in B.Tech was to explore myself and to know, what potential I've. Academic curriculum here prepares you really well.

The faculty members in the institute are very helpful and friendly but that does not mean that every teacher can teach well. All the teachers are very knowledgeable but not all have that sense or know the technique to teach. But to be honest, everyone here wants you to do something in your life. They will motivate and help you in every aspect be it in any field to achieve something great.

Yes, we do have a placement cell here in KIIT Bhubaneswar, which is very helpful till the end. It checks and gets you, your deserved job.

Yes, the institute had residential facilities within the campus. Every facility and infrastructure was provided by the hostel. The hostel life here was amazing. Just for 1st year students rules were a bit strict otherwise everything is perfect. The hostels here had inter-hostel sports competitions, which were really fun.

When someone asks us about the institute then, we just don't tell them that it is a campus but we tell them that it is a whole city. It has area of more than 7000 acres and around 32 campuses; it is definitely one of the biggest universities, you might have seen. Yes, all the buildings are structural perfections; you'll find all the best equipment and amenities here. Books are according to the updated version of the course and you will find the central library where you'll get all the required books.

If you're not getting into any IITs and want to enjoy your campus life with a lot of opportunities all along then you should get into KIIT Bhubaneswar. There are around 28 societies & clubs that are working officially under the institute. These conduct various events & functions that give you ample amount of opportunities to learn something better and grow at your own place. The crowd is very diverse; you'll find people of every culture participating in various events and engaging with everyone.
