My Outlook on Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute

Overall Rating
A student opinion is most important part of knowledge for institute. An institutional behavior matters for the fulfillment of every student’s hard work. This institute is good known for its placement and campus hiring process. It is very strict and maintains proper education and minimum attendance 75%. Books are provided by the institute but charges for it. It is compulsory to get books from the institute.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criterion for Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute is to have more than 50% in 10+2. The process is both offline and online. The fee is different for each course. It focuses on students’ growth.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are supportive. However, they also make sure to give us assignments. There is a staff, which provides coaching for government exams. They are PhD holders.
 

Placement Rating
Institute also provides excellent placements but students need to pay for it around 5000 INR. Companies like Accenture, JP Morgan, and TCS are top recruiters. Training is provided by the institute. Students need to maintain 7 CGPA or more for attending placement drive.
 

Hostel Rating
Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute provides hostel facilities. There are different hostel for boys and girls. Single and double sharing rooms are available with AC and non-AC options. Security guards and warden are there to take care of the students. Hostels are well maintained with three meals a day.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is well maintained. There are blocks like admin block, East block, and library. There are two libraries in the campus. There are four canteens available and students can go there during lunch breaks.
 

Campus Rating
There are different cultural programs in the institute. There are seniors and different departments to take care of these programs. Festivals are also celebrated by the students.

    Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute is located in Maduravoyal, it is deemed to be University, it is reputed institute in Chennai, and the admission can only do through management quota. Fees structure is somewhat higher than other universities in Tamil Nadu. The attendance is must and necessary to complete the course you taken, lot of courses are available in engineering technology management, arts and science too.
