Starting My Journey in JDMC

Overall Rating
As a first year student at JDMC, I have experienced a lot. It has good infrastructure, gardens full of green plants and trees that feels so good and fresh. It has good environment for both academic and personal growth. Our college also has a centre for vocational studies.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BA (Hons.) in History. As it comes under University of Delhi, it is compulsory to pass an entrance exam called CUET. All 12th pass students are eligible for this. I really wanted to be a part of University of Delhi as it was my childhood dream.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of the college is highly educated and approachable. They make complex concepts easy to grasp. They provide opportunities to engage to debates, discussions and enhance our communication skills. Almost all the professors have studied from top universities like Stanford University, Cambridge University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. They help students whenever it's needed.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, our college has placement cell named Career Opportunity Cell (COC). All the members of cell are highly approachable. They help student to acquire internships and jobs. They regularly give updates about recruitments in different industries and companies
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, our college has hostel facility. Krishna hostel is in college campus. It has good infrastructure with full facilities like security, electricity backup, camera surveillance, housekeeping, food and many more.
 

Infrastructure Rating
JDMC's infrastructure is very good. It has lush green gardens, open GYM, basketball court, football ground, auditorium, canteen, modern classrooms, library, and computer labs. Admin office and reception area are also highly approachable. The building has four floors and lifts for faculty and disabled persons. Library has a good collection of books and E-books too.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life is as amazing as it has many extracurricular activities like workshops, street plays, and debates. 20+ societies and clubs that are suitable for every student's interests. Societies have lot of teams like logistics team, digital team, content team, media team, discipline team, cleanliness team, and refreshment team.

    The Janki Devi Memorial College is also known as the JMC among the Delhi students. It is one of the top colleges affiliated with Delhi University. The overall ranking of the college is very high because of its prominence among the top colleges under DU. The admission procedure in the bachelor's course is through the cutoff released by the DU and in the master's course is through the entrance and cut-off.
