KMC: Great College Experience

Overall Rating
Looking for colleges is difficult as it is and by the time I had to choose one, I had already heard a lot about KMC from friends and relatives so I decided to go here. It has been an amazing experience so far, I have come to learn a lot and I think it’s a very good choice if you’re looking for best colleges in India
 

Academics Rating
KMC has its own entrance exams for the Allied Health Professional Courses. The eligibility for enrolling is that student needs to have completed 12th grade with 60% or above score or he/she can choose their course based on their entrance exam score. The admission process is very swift and assisted quite nicely by the staff.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at KMC is supportive. Each of professors is highly qualified with Bachelors and Masters degree in respective courses. They are polite and understanding while resolving student’s doubts. The classes are interactive where the faculty makes the students come forward with their own points and queries. Their way of teaching at KMC is very easygoing and interactive.
 

Placement Rating
The college provides an internship program at the end of courses. The internship period and package vary from course to course. For BPT, the internship is offered at the end of 4th year extends for 6 months. After internship sometimes, students are selected to practice further full time in KMC itself based on their performance. Students are free to choose to work wherever they want. The university doesn’t offer any particular placement opportunities outside Manipal.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostels are provided for all the students of all the years and courses. The hostel facility is quite good and well maintained. There are separate hostels for men and women. There is a mess hall for all the students to eat. Hostels also have libraries and entertainment rooms for students. The cleaning and everything else that needs to be taken care of is handled by ZOLO team. Overall hostels are very comfortable and well maintained for students to stay.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In Mangalore, KMC has buildings all over the city. The classes are held mostly in the academic blocks that are in the college buildings but for hands on practice, the students go for clinical sessions in hospitals. The college has its own sports complex and two major libraries. There is an anatomy museum, a dissection hall and various labs for their respective departments. All these buildings are clean and well maintained.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in KMC Mangalore is engaging. There are various fests and events arranged that keep busy academic year more interesting. The annual fest called ‘Utsav’ at KMC is quite a show with all sorts of events arranged by the students. The college arranges events during festivals like Diwali and Holi, which can be very fun. College has a sports week as well, various other inter, and intra sports events every year.

    Life at Kasturba Medical College is awesome. Teachers are very cooperative. I got admission through NEET. Study curriculum at Kasturba medical. College is really very good as faculty and other staff is very cooperative. Sports and other activities are also promoted at KMC campus; we have world class sports complex name Marena greens....
