My journey at Meerut Institute of Technology as a student has been awesome. The institute provide basic infrastructure including, labs, libraries, and hostels but maintenance are needed in some areas. The teacher in my institute is very well educated from top recognized universities. The placement cell occasionally organizes internship drive where companies visit the campus to recruit interns.

The semester is comparatively shorter, which can affect the depth of study. The examination system is quite rigorous. Exams are held frequently. The difficulty level is notably high. The strong faculty support and challenging curriculum create a dynamic education experience. There is no any eligibility for taking admission and hence admission process is very simple and easy. Course is good but technical subjects are less as compared to other universities.

Most of the faculties are PhD degree holder and others hold Master’s degree. However, they are all trained and experienced. The mentors are provided to each batch and student for personal evolution and monitoring. The strong faculty support and challenging curriculum creates a dynamic educational experience. It is crucial to prioritize your studies in first semester as teachers are highly attentive and will promptly notify your parents if you are absent from institute. They also provide extra training to ensure that we are going with development and meeting the needs of industries.

MIT offers placements in above average graded companies with a quite good package at starting stage. Placement rate is 70-75%. Until now, the highest package was about 12 LPA acquired by one of the brightest student. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, etc. The institute offers good internship opportunity in these companies.

I opted for hostel but due to limited slots, I failed to get accommodation there. Hence, I chose to stay in hostel of MIET Institute. The hostel condition in MIET Institute is good. The hostel provides 24/7 electricity, Wi-Fi, washing machine, geyser, water cooler. Food of hostel mess is average, meals are provided 4 times a day.

My institute has best buildings and government through rule applies work infrastructure. Campus is green with the field that has plants and flowers. The Management also needs to work over the maintenance of the campus.

There are lots of functions and fests organized by MIT, Meerut. One of the best functions is ‘Mridang’, which is celebrated in the month of October. There is a sport function in our institute.
