Overall Rating
First, this college is popular for engineering college in Vizianagaram. It is well reputed and the environment is nice. Coming to placements, they are good. Nearly 900 jobs are offered to my seniors. Some of faculties are great. To get decent packages in you final year and to enjoy your college life, you should join this college. In addition, ragging is strictly prohibited.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently enrolled in Information Technology branch of MVGR. The subjects are relevant to the course. They even include real problems while teaching subjects like Design Thinking, Idea Process, and Human Resources and many more. The entry requirement is that you must have completed HSC or diploma (for lateral). You have to get 20-30k rank in EAPCET to get Information Technology branch. You have to get at least 3000 integrated rank in except for diploma students.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty are so experienced, exceptional, and knowledgeable their subjects. In addition, the teaching skills are too good. Coming to remaining faculty, they were average. Coming to laboratory faculty, some are good.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell and it is good. Every year, there is schedule called training and placement, where they teach some skills. In final year, they teach for 2 days in week over how to get a job. They take care of students during placements, assist you in building projects, and help to complete various courses.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities. We have both boys and girls hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good in this college. This college has peaceful environment. There are separate block for each department. The maintenance is good. Main attraction for this college is library (top notch) and sports complex where they provide all kinds of facilities. There is availability of good internet.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. You can enjoy in MVGR. Crowd is decent and there are several of clubs like sports, dancing, singing and others. Until last year, many events were conducted.
