I Chose Manipal University Jaipur for My B.Tech in AI-ML

My experience at Manipal University Jaipur I should say has been really good so far in every aspect. Students get an overall experience of sports, extracurricular activities, clubs, societies, and chapters, which particularly helps them to develop his organizational skills and leadership qualities. If we talk about the things that made me choose this university, it’s amazing campus facilities and the exposure for students who really want to do something in life? If you are dedicated, you will surely be pushed by your peers and staff towards excellence, which gives a student the confidence and hunger to do more. Apart from academics, the life here is amazing. The university and students organize many events to chill and have fun.

Particularly talking about admissions here, for B.Tech there is a certain cutoff based on Manipal entrance test for students to get their respective branches. Talking about my own course i.e., B.Tech CSE (AI-ML), the cutoff was somewhat high as for B.Tech CSE, it is the highest. My motive behind joining this stream was the increasing trend in the field of AI. Hence, I thought I could make a career out of it.

The faculty here at Manipal University Jaipur is mixed or one can say average. Some of the professors here are amazing and some are strict. Most of the faculty members are from good institutes like IITs & NITs. Teaching style depends on teacher-to-teacher. some teach in an interactive way while some prefer the descriptive manner.

We have a dedicated placement cell here. Placements here are good as compared to other private universities. Various good companies do visit at MUJ like Mahindra, Amazon, DELL, Goldman Sachs, and many more. But getting a placement depends on a student's skill set. Of course, university will surely help but not in case where you know nothing. Hence, if you have a decent amount of knowledge you will surely be placed.

The university does have its own hostel facility in partnership with good host spaces. it is top notch here with fully air conditioned rooms, sports facilities, lovely ambiance, various outlets, super markets, shops, etc. Overall, the food here is amazing. Students get 4 meals a day and all are really tasty and healthy. Football turf, games room, and various other sporting facilities are provided but the only drawback can be that these hostels are a bit expensive. However, seeing the facilities, it is worth spending that much money.

University is known for its amazing infrastructure and beautiful lush green campus. Currently, it has 3 academic blocks with big spacious classrooms, a huge cricket, volleyball, basketball, and tennis courts, indoor table tennis room, various food outlets, stationary shop, and various other amenities are available here. Every academic block has lifts and air conditioners are fitted in each classroom, giving a comfortable studying experience to students.

Campus life is amazing. Students enjoy a lot apart from academics, students are from all over India, and that is what makes it more beautiful. University has various clubs and societies like famous ones are IEEE, TEDx, Enactus, ACM, and many more. Each year university, an annual fest is organized known as ‘Oneiros’ that gives students a lovely 3 day experience. It is full of activities and fun. The university also organizes a sports fest called 'Abhivyakti' for students who are interested in sports. Various other universities also participate in these fests and various competitions are being organized. Overall, a lovely campus life full of enjoyment and learning. Crowd is somewhat getting more these days but at the same time facilities are being increased accordingly.
