Insights of IIMT-A

Overall Rating
My experience in IIMT-A has been very good. The amenities here are very good. This institute is decent in every aspect. From sports to academics, this institute is good at everything. The infrastructure in this institute is very good.
 

Academics Rating
This institute is known for its academics. There are 2 exams per semester and many quizzes in between. The course is designed in such a way that it meets the current industry standards. It allows the students to get ready for real life jobs. The curriculum is designed in such a way that it help us improve.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are very great. They are very experienced and have excelled in their respective fields. They have also written many papers on various topics. They are great at teaching and are quite friendly. They always encourage us to ask doubts. They are easily accessible even after class hours.
 

Placement Rating
The main highlight of my institute is training and placement cell. It has ensured that 100% of students are placed every year with good package. Many big companies like Apple, Microsoft Flipkart, Amazon, Nvidia, etc. visit every year. Along with placements, the institute also has very good internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities here are top notch. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Every hostel has a badminton court and GYM, which are well maintained. Every floor has 4 washrooms, which are cleaned every day. The mess also has good food with a lot of variety.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIMT-A has good infrastructure. It has 3 big buildings with ample of classrooms and labs. The library is great. It has 3 floors with numerous books, journals, and other learning material. There are 2 big grounds along with an all season is swimming pool. The academic block is beautifully designed with two wings on each of it sides.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is average. There are 3 fests in a year, which are okay. There are 5 clubs, which include music, dance, drama, art, and literary clubs.

    IIIT Allahabad is the only IIIT in the country which is fully under government as other IIIT's are either semi government or private. IIIT Allahabad is one of best in the country not only because it boasts the extraordinary placements but also because it has an excellent coding culture. Many people here do competitive programming and participate in events and rank higher than students from IITs and NITs.     Just like every other JEE aspirant I too started searching for the perfect institute according to my rank. I found IIIT Allahabad perfect in terms of placements, infrastructure, etc. Then I went ahead and chose IIIT Allahabad considering its placement statistics and coding culture. But little did I know that I will be left with very less time for coding. Placements wise it will definitely be one of the best institutes but it cannot give you great institute life.     I chose to attend this institute because of its very high placement statistics. It is one of the best institutes in India and you should definitely enroll in the institute, if your rank is decent; although it has a hard curriculum but worth it. There are three branches in the B.Tech course, viz., IT, ECE and IT- BI. For batch 2022-2026, there was a new branch introduced, although afterwards it was not continued.
