Chitkara Institute: A descriptive review

Overall Rating
The Institute has a great infrastructure, and all the departments have amazing faculties. The campus is big and beautiful and has all the necessary facilities and plenty of options for co-curricular activities. Academic wise, the environment is very good. Overall, it is a great option to consider.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BE in Computer Science and Engineering. The curriculum is up to date and helps in understanding practical aspects of things. I made a decision in my 12th class that I will only opt for Computer Science and therefore, I chose it in Chitkara Institute as I also heard about the placement opportunities they offer.
 

Faculty Rating
For subjects like DSA, Back end and Front end, they have trainers from different companies to teach us whereas for some subjects like computer networks and operating systems, the faculty of the institute conduct our classes. The teaching methods are quite good and appropriate for the students according to me.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has a great infrastructure, and new buildings are under construction as the institute is expanding. The latest building is for the MBA students which looks great. The library also has a good collection of books, and it is very easy to get books issued but it needs to be returned within a month. Facilities like ACs, water coolers and many more are available.
 

Campus Rating
The institute has a lot of clubs to explore and join like GDSC, Coding blocks, Coding ninjas, ACM and many others. Recently Abhishek Upmanyu and Gurleen Pannu visited the institute for standup comedy but, due to the timings, day scholars weren't able to attend the show because it was at 6:00 PM.

    Overall Rating
    It is a decent institute with good infrastructure and better educational services. Personally, I joined this institute as it had better placement records than other private institutes nearby. The admission criteria is simple, just have 60% aggregate with PCM in 12th boards. You have to visit Chitkara School Chandigarh for admission process.... Read Full Review

    The college is situated in a vast area of nearly 70 acres and is well maintained. It has strong worldwide connection and boast of very good alumni. The placements offered are also quite good and you can explore your potential out here. The college also provides various opportunities in diverse fields.... Read Full Review

    If you not getting seat in any NIT or IIIT or any other top renowned government colleges then this college is best for you. Rather than choosing any other college you can check this because the quality of study and the infrastructure have is amazing. This college totally works on skills and academics equally....
