Good experience at KMG

Overall Rating
The staff of the college was friendly and the teachers had a great way of explaining the topics. The college has lab facilities, library, hostel and bus. It also encourages students to participate in sports and other activities. The canteen area is really good and hygienic.
 

Academics Rating
I was a batch of 2021-2024 and pursued B.Sc in microbiology K.M.G. College of Arts and Science. They offer a wide range of courses such as B.Com, Microbiology, Biochemistry, BCA and Computer Science. The requirements for science stream are that the student must have taken biology as a subject in 12th and scored over 50% of marks. This college is an amazing place to learn and study in my opinion.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are well-trained and experienced. They teach in a very practical way and simple way. We have 2 days a week for a lab where we are supposed to do practical learning. The faculties also plan seminars on certain topics.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, this college has a Placement Cell which is offered every year.
 

Hostel Rating
The college provides a separate hostel facility for both Boys and Girls.
 

Infrastructure Rating
They have 2 libraries with a wide range of books for every department. There are lab facilities for microbiology and biochemistry students with instruments such as autoclave, microscope, centrifuge, test tubes, chemicals, UV air flow. There is also a canteen and playgrounds for cricket, Kabaddi, basketball, tennis and shuttle. They have a separate area for boys to have their lunch. There are also 2 auditoriums and a park where you can study and spend time with your friends.
 

Campus Rating
Cultural programmes are not organised frequently, but overall, the campus life is average.
