The Bhawanipur Education Society College: My Dream College

Overall Rating
I was always interested in the business world and management roles so I opted in this college as this college has a very good BBA department. After passing out, students will become a new different person. It gives us many opportunities for all round development, build up our speaking skills, boosts our confidence and improve our social skills. The college has smart boards and it also conducts seminars where eminent professors of various universities are invited, an interactive session is also conducted.
 

Academics Rating
Eligibility criterion is having minimum 55% in 12th boards. The admission is purely merit based. As the competition is high, it is difficult to get seats. it is important to remember that there are limited number of seats and they fill up quickly. I opted for this course as it enriches my knowledge of corporate world and how it works. It opens doors for students so they can go for banking sectors, teaching lines or opt for higher studies like MBA. They can also get a fair salary job after this.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of The Bhawanipur Education Society College are great. They clear your doubt repeatedly. They take weekly short tests to check if we are progressing. They check and evaluate our study pattern and mentor us as well. They take mentorship classes where we are counseled as we share our problems in our academics. The teaching methods are modern.
 

Placement Rating
We have a placement cell at The Bhawanipur Education Society College. It really helps students. There are many internship opportunities, right from the 1st year of admission.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Bhawanipur Education Society College has a vast library, which has many books, unlimited to be seated and read. In addition, each student can take home up to 5 books. It also provides us with journals, CDs, DVDs, and important newspapers and magazines. The library has a huge collection of novels and storybooks as well of English Hindi and Bengali. The college also provides us with various additional courses, which needs separate fee, courses like tally, excel advance and digital marketing and many more.
 

Campus Rating
The college conducts big events and fests like ‘Umang’ and competitions starting from dance, singing, chess, karate, tennis, boxing and many more. Participation is open to all students. The college has several clubs like fashion club, debate club, dance and singing clubs and many more. The college provides additional courses like Events Management after which students can volunteer to manage events too.

    I am a first year B.Sc. Economics Hons. Student at BESC, and in my 4 months of college now I can honestly say that BESC is wonderful. It is true that college doesn’t have high cut offs and even average students can get admission here, but regardless of this all the students here specially in English, Science and Arts department are very creative, knowledgeable, academically strong and brilliant.     BESC is the best commerce college in Kolkata. The college timings are quite good, and we get enough time to indulge in other activities. It has an excellent library which is spread in an area of 5,000sq.m.     The college is one of the best commerce colleges in Kolkata. I am a non-Bengali and most colleges in Kolkata give out Bengali Lectures therefore I wanted a college which offers English Lectures and also has a good faculty.
