Detailed review of CBIT

Overall Rating
I would rate overall experience at the institute 9/10. The campus life, environment, infrastructure, faculty, placements, all of these aspects made me choose this particular institute. If you want to spend your four years of B.Tech life memorably, acquire most skills, gain knowledge and get exposure to different fields of your interest then you must join CBIT. It has many clubs, societies, great sports, a huge library and a vast alumni network. Also, I would like to say that CBIT is a ragging free institute.
 

Academics Rating
I opted for CSE with a specialisation in IoT course. To get admission, we have to clear EAPCET with a decent rank and seats will be allotted based on the reservation category. I'm from ST category and have women reservation as well. In particular, I didn’t have any motive to pursue CSE (IoT) but I applied for CSE and got into it.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are very skilled and good in my opinion but some of my friends from different branches told me that their faculties were average at teaching and just provided notes in the form of PDFs. My faculties give their 100% to share their knowledge to the students and are also providing study material.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell which is well managed and follows strict rules related to placements. It really helps students to get placed in different companies with decent to high packages. Most of the companies visit the campus and offer the highest package around 54 LPA and average package around 6 LPA and the lowest package being 3 LPA. Many internship opportunities are provided from 2nd year onwards and the actual placements are available in 4th year.
 

Hostel Rating
There are no hostel facilities in the campus for girls but there are many private PGs around the campus and the rent is around Rs.6, 500/- to Rs.20, 000/- per month. For boys, there is a hostel outside the campus and the food is decent, but the quality differs from hostel to hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is good but can be improved. Currently it is under construction and some departments don’t even have enough facilities for all the students. There is a library, a playground, huge auditorium and many seminar halls available in the campus with a decent canteen which serves different food at average price.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is amazing. Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology conducts two different fests, and they are a huge success every year. 1st is ‘Shruthi’ cultural fest and 2nd is ‘Shudhi technical fest 'and these fests last for 4 to 5 days in the month of February or March. Additionally, there is a sports fest ‘Aura’ which is conducted every year and students of other colleges also participate in these fests.

    I have chosen this particular institute because of its excellent reputation and its infrastructure, faculty and placement history and many other things which made me choose this institute.   • A genuine experience of CBIT

    I have started my journey in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad in 2020, in short called as CBIT. I got admission through EAMCET in Telangana. The campus is huge and has all lab facilities and library facilities too. It has good infrastructure but some of the buildings are old as it the second old university in Hyderabad and they are trying to renovate them too.
