Positive experience in KIIT

Overall Rating
Overall, I am here in KIIT for 6 months and I haven't found any loop hole in this institute. Everything is quite good but strictness and restrictions are there for the 1st year students which to some extents are right. Food quality of the mess is decent.
 

Academics Rating
The institute enrolls students through their entrance exam called KIITEE in 3 phases. Since Computer Science branch with specialisation is most popular, the population of the students is more. You need to score 80 percentile in KIITEE examination to pursue CSE branch with specialisations like AI ML, Data Science, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are quite good and very cooperative with students but when it come laboratory faculties then there is some kind of language barrier.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of KIIT is fabulous with great buildings. There are many campuses, and each campus has its own auditorium. There is a large central library with more than 10 floors. It consists of many swimming pools, boxing complex, gym and an indoor stadium hall named Biju Patnaik indoor stadium.
 

Campus Rating
The institute is fabulous and has a beautiful and lush green campus covered in 600 to 700 acres. It consists of many gardens, sports complex and vast grounds. Here the campus is crowded with almost 5,000 above students enrolled per year in 1st year. The institute conducts great fest and has many clubs and societies for everyone.

  • KIIT: Paramount Facilities to have a Dream College Life

    This institute is good. The fee is a bit higher than the other institutes. This still has some positives. For example, the institute provides a laptop to its each student. This laptop is of the latest model, and it's price is included in the fee.     A very good college with good faculty and wide campus. People are generous here. They will always find themselves involved with fests or sport or academics. It is a reputed college with thousands of opportunities in different fields of your choice. You won’t get a chance to feel left out or get bored. Social networking is also pretty easy and enjoyable.     As I am first year student, I have not experienced the full environment but I have a wonderful familiarity in last 4 months of my first semester. The facilities at the hostel are good with well-maintained rooms. The academic programs are also designed well. The teaching faculties are well-behaved people and give freedom to know more about the subject.
