Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is dream college of many to study at and getting this opportunity was a dream come true for me too. Talking about my personal experience in the college, the college helps you to become the best version of yourself by competing with the best people here. Hence, you will be always striving to be the one in the lot. Through various societies, I was able to evolve my personality. My reason behind choosing this college was its ranking, placements and faculties.

The course that I pursued was BBA (FIA). Till 2021, to get into this college, DUJAT exam was to be given but now you can get in though CUET (UG) exam. To get this course, Math is compulsory subject to have in 12th standard and other subjects don't matter. If you are thinking of pursuing a career in Finance, this course can be your stepping-stone. The subjects studied throughout the course makes you ready to enter the professional field. In addition, after pursuing this course there are high chances of you getting places in best companies globally just after your graduation.

The faculty of the course is very experienced one with most of them holding a PhD in Finance. They are well acquainted with subjects they teach and at the same time try to incorporate technology in their teaching methodologies. The teachers teach through various presentations and have case studies prepared as and when required when it comes to internals the teachers mark you on basis of your class performance as well some weightage is given to internal tests. Overall, faculty’s interaction with me has been awesome. The faculty is very friendly and always ready to help us in case of any need in studies also they encourage you to take part in various case study competitions as well as extracurricular activities.

Yes, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies’ placement cell is best one amongst all the DU colleges, with most of the batches landing with jobs. The average package offered is 9 LPA and highest is 24 LPA. The cell of the college has a good name of its own.

Coming to infrastructure of the college, it is having modern infrastructure with well-kept labs, library that has plenty of course books available, a good playground for sports and AC classrooms. I can ensure you one thing, the college’s infrastructure would never disappoint you here. Every classroom has a smart board, which makes seeing presentations so easy.

Campus life at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies is awesome. You are surrounded by best crowd with most fun and talented people. Each person you would meet in the campus will have a unique skill of his/her own. Each day, you will be learning something new from one person or other. Coming to fests, usual b- school fests are held that are filled with a lot of case study competitions. These days, events similar to shark tank are becoming common in the fest. The participants of fest include MBA lads from top IIM's coming in to participate this itself proves how awesome are the fests and well known. In addition, it is the only college in DU to organize prom night. So getting the prom experience can be another reason to join this college.
