OUTR has Compelling Campus View

Overall Rating
The campus is surrounded by plants, trees, flowers and with beautiful scenery. The campus gives the best facility with placement. It is government-aided university. It includes UG, PG, and PhD courses. The faculties were good and helpful. Every year events and sports were organized by the university and the students.
 

Academics Rating
If you want to do B.Tech then the duration should be 4 years as I am doing now. For taking admission, you have to qualify JEE Main or OJEE exam and 65% in 12th grade. Overall, the academic process is excellent.
 

Faculty Rating
Each department contains its own faculty. You will be provided by faculty advisor who will advise you for further process in future. They will take all the responsibility of you for your study, exam, and doubts related. They will guide you very well in every situation. All the faculty members have done their PhD.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have our placement and training cell. It really helps you to acquire jobs in the industry.
They faculty will guide you properly. This also contains personal interview. In addition, this university gives you best package. As this university has done the streak of giving above 40 lakh every year as a highest package.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have residential facilities in OUTR. For the first year, the hostel is outside the campus that is only for 100 students and this is allotted according to their rank. For the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students the university is inside the campus this is all about boys. In time is 7.30 PM for the first year. And for the girls all hostel are inside the campus and there in time is 7 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average as it is an government university but overall inside view is excellent. In addition, it has 4 block A, B, C, and D with one laboratory building. OUTR also contains workshop for Mechanical, & Civil, and hi-tech labs for Electrical and Electronics. It has central computer lab. The campus is fully covered by Wi-Fi connectivity.
 

Campus Rating
Every year, a fest is held that is both unofficial and official. It has different clubs. Sports and athletic competitions are also held. Crowd of people and gathering gives more pleasant environment every year. Audition for recruitment of clubs members also takes place. Overall, the university is excellent.

    According to my experience, most of the students are ambitious and well-focused in their studies and career. The campus area is big. It has good atmosphere and gives positive vibes.     Overall Rating
    Overall, the university is good. It is the best government Engineering university under the state government in Odisha. Computer Science (CSE) is the royal branch. People in this branch are those who have very good ranks. I have even seen people who were not satisfied with the Mechanical/ Chemical branch of NIT Rourkela and took Computer Science here to follow up their passion. University has good faculty members (professors). University even provides scholarship to students for scoring good CGP... Read Full Review
