Jaypee Institute of Information Technology B.Tech Review By Adhiraj Gupta

My rank was low in JEE and according to my research Jaypee was the best I could get with my 60000 rank in JEE. The average package is quiet good and the academics is also good, the highest package is around 60-70 LPA and there are a lot of companies who visit and offer packages ranging between 15-50 LPA which is why I choose Jaypee. Also as the college is in Noida and if we look at the pollution, the city is good and you get a lot of exposure to the society. There are also some bad things the college as it is not very active culturally and the hubs and clubs are not so active the fest are average. So I would suggest if you want to get a decent placement and you are willing to work average then you should choose Jaypee and you will get a good placement. But if you want to live college life and placement doesn't matter then don’t go for it as the academic pressure is very high and there are exams and lab test every month

The college offers B.Tech, BCA, Biotech, MBA and other courses. For B.Tech you have two options, you can apply through your JEE rank or your on the basis of the marks scored in 12th class. You can also apply through both. My motive for enrolling in this college was to get a decent placement and learn and I believe I got what I wanted

The faculty here is average some teachers are very highly qualified and have great knowledge. Most of the teachers are M.Tech or Ph.D level without any great work or research. The faculty have knowledge and they want to distribute it. They just come to lectures read the ppt. and leave, they don't care if you understood or not.

Yes we have a great placement cell in our institute and it is the most hardworking. They ensure that each and every student who wants a placement gets it, they are very helpful they tell you what you should do and where you can improve.

The hostel is not that good it is basic, the food is also ok. We have air conditioner facility, food mess, washrooms which are not private and are common. The infrastructure is average medium size rooms and the warden and guards are friendly

The college campus is not that big we have a small campus with just one big hostel building, we have well maintained labs with every instruments. We also have cafeteria, stationery shop and there is also a shop where you can buy daily use things and the connectivity is very good.

The crowd here is quite good the students come from good families, there are a lot of clubs but most of them are not very active, we have our college hackathons and 3-4 hackathons happen every year, the fest is average there are two campuses in Noida and you can attend fest of both campuses, apart from this there are sometimes small events and other things which makes life a little fun.
