First Year Learner at NSUT

Overall Rating
NSUT is a university with great reputation. It is also known for its capability of providing great placements. I am currently in 1st semester pursuing information technology. Campus life is awesome and you do not have much academic pressure here so you can focus on yourself and learning new skills.
 

Academics Rating
To join this university, you have to give an entrance exam called JEE and based on your rank, you will be allotted seat during SAC counseling. Once you are here, you also have to maintain your studies (for your personal benefits) along with fun, as scoring CGPA is necessary for good placements. Somewhat around 8 CGPA puts you in a save zone.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is nice and friendly. Most of them are approachable and ready to help. The teaching staff is awesome, as they seem to be so much educated in their respective fields. The teachers or professors here are mostly lenient but some teachers can be very strict.
 

Placement Rating
Placement at NSUT is awesome. Many companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Uber visit us for placements and internships. However as mentioned above, you can only sit in placements if you maintain certain CGPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are hostels at NSUT but there is long waiting list as many students are not from Delhi and want a hostel. You can always look for PGs outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university’s infrastructure is beautifully built. The total area is approximately 163 acres. We have different departments for different branch. It also has sports facilities. It has 400-meter racetrack, football ground, basketball court, badminton court, table tennis, and GYM. The entire campus is full of greenery. It has modern technology with smart classes that are air-conditioned.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is awesome. It has different societies and clubs that you can join based on your interest. NSUT also has amazing fests like ‘Moksha’. it can offer fun experience but students have to maintain at least 75% attendance.

    My experience in NSUT is kind of mixed. I am currently a 2nd year student of B.Tech (CS & AI). My experience of the 1st year in university was pretty good. NSUT is one of the top universities. What made me choose this educational institute were its academics, infrastructure and placement. Hostel facilities are available too.     My experience at NSUT has been fairly well. The infrastructure and technology have all been newly updated and the curriculum is simplified as per new census. I chose this university because it was near to my home and offered the course that I wanted.     NSUT Delhi holds a perfect balance of academics, fun, and opportunities. My experience yet has been thrilling and lovely. The beautiful hostel and campus life have made a tremendous positive change in my personality and have given me an overall holistic development.   • NSUT Campus Review: Highlights and Considerations

    There is no doubt that there are some better colleges than NSUT like IIT and NIT, which I could have selected as I got 8000 rank in JEE Main, but I choose NSUT over others because of its placement statistics, which are very good as compared to others.
