Holistic Development at Christ University

Overall Rating
Christ University is a good university, which focuses on student’s overall development. It has good extracurricular activities. Students are from all over the country as well as from Dubai. Nevertheless, it is very strict and has 85% attendance policy, which is an unnecessary rule for the students. In addition, this thing is serious. So, take these concerns also while taking this university
 

Academics Rating
I am there for Psychology course. The university has everything from good faculties to good research department, labs, passionate students, good assignments to teach students practically, you have to give their entrance exam, CUET exams happens. It has at least 5 round which starts from December every year till May.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are great no doubt. Some new may be new, but overall great. Every faculty has studied from top universities having good research profile. They adopt students centered approach where students are given priority while teaching. Overall, I like the faculties. They are supportive as well.
 

Placement Rating
Placements for my course are not up to the mark and might not be beneficial for Psychology.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are good, but very strict policies. Students have to come before 9 PM, electronic devices other than essential are not allowed (like kettle, induction), etc. recreational activities for hostlers happens sometimes rooms are shared between 3 people. Infrastructure is very good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Christ University has a great infrastructure. No doubt, it is very clean and well maintained. Classes are well lit, clean, and well fitted. Auditoriums, recreational zones, library, and sports like basketball court, football turf, and badminton court are present in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Christ University offers nice campus life. Students are also very nice to each other, and all of them are very passionate individuals. It has recreational zones where people can during free time. There are competitions like Darpan and blossoms where students compete for their respective departments. There are various clubs like e-cell, drama, production houses, gaming clubs, etc.

    I chose this University as it is easily accessible to me. Moreover, it is top private University for Law in Karnataka. This University comes in top 13 Law colleges in India, even above some of the NLUs. The campus is great, clean, and green, which makes it even more appealing to enroll here.     The university is very well reputed and has a great brand value. I would not say that it lives up to the hype, but it definitely is a fine university. I am from the Psychology department and I find the course structure and the faculty above average. One thing that stood out to me about this college on my first day was the campus.
