Amrapali Group of Institutes BBA Review By Dhiraj Bisht

The management field has taken off in various directions. There are not many careers-focused courses for commerce 12th pass-out students. CA and CS are like Janta courses that everyone does, so I decided to pursue BBA from Amrapali Group of Institutes in my hometown, which has attracted students from all corners of India. If it weren't for the lockdown that kept us at bay from the campus for most part, the institute would have given us enough assistance for the job too. The institute is still one of the best as the college faculties have transformed all my career goals to the next level. I never thought so far, but the faculties helped us out in all possible ways to move ahead in life as lockdown has hammered the job scenario, which is indeed quite good at the college.

BBA program of the college demonstrated to us a different pattern of studies than the traditional one as they always asked us to become smart leaders than just be a person in the crowd. There are many reasons why our college consistently ranked top in many national surveys. The education system of our program focused mainly on participatory learning and innovations. Just when we were about to finish our 4th semester, the lockdown happened, and things came to still. Many thought online classes were not a serious business but not at Amrapali Group of Institutes. Luckily the institute reopened in January 2021, and finals were held at the institute. Even though many Covid protocols were followed during that time, the college still managed to conduct many seminars, workshops, and virtual conferences. There were so many things that the college did for the betterment of students that I can't even list out each one of those.

Teachers of the college possessed good knowledge and were qualified highly. If not all, most of them had an industrial exposure to back the studies with guidance. They were quite helpful and always encouraged us to engage in participatory learning. To enrich students with the confidence, the faculty organized many extracurricular activities. They also guided us on how to excel in the industry we have chosen.

The institute has tie-ups with many industries for providing training, but before we could go on training, the lockdown happened, and it also messed up the entire placement scenario. The college held no fault in it, as after reopening the college in the final semester, they tried to get students placed, but none came to the campus, and some online interviews were held. Nobody could find a fitting role or job, so the placements were nil from our batch. More than what college could do, it was the pandemic that took the hit. Blaming our own institute for that won't be good because for not getting us placed, the college was sorry for its students.

AGI campus has both girl's and boy's hostels as most students were from different cities. Since, I was from Haldwani, we were not allowed to have a room at the hostel but from what I saw, the facilities were amazing as all the students I knew who stayed at the hostel, enjoyed their stay to the moon and back. Food quality of the hostel doesn't require any acknowledgment as day scholars like us were also allowed to have food there. So, for food I can vouch because one can't get better food that at the hostels. I am currently staying at a hostel, and if I compare the food I have with what was provided at AGI, AGI's food was much better.

The campus size is around 20 acres, and it's like a massive society with some parks in it. From an academic point of view, the infrastructure was amazing as AGI campus has one of the finest labs. For focused learning, positive energy is required, and the campus gives you such positive vibes that you will ignore all the ribbons and pearls and concentrate entirely on studies. Digital classrooms and digital libraries were active during college hours. There are two canteens and food kiosks on the campus, including a Nescafe bar.

There's a bit of junior senior competition at the campus, and one can shake legs with seniors only during college events and fests. From what I saw, the seniors were rude as they never gave us a satisfactory answer and were always rude. If I chuck out the seniors, the college campus had enough to keep the motivation levels high. Many academic leaders and corporate gurus regularly came to college for seminars. The college did its part in making students educated and gave them the confidence to compete with students of metro cities. I still regret missing the campus life for a year due to lockdown.
