My 1st Year in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
Overall experience in Vidyalankar Institute of Technology has been good until now. However, academics can be exhausting. Well, the campus and infrastructure is good. The institute has PS5 to play. The labs are well maintained. You can go to this institute for better planning of future education as institute supports you for studying abroad.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing Electronics & Computer Science course (EXCS) from Vidyalankar Institute of Technology. You can admit here by giving MHT-CET exam conducted in Maharashtra only or by JEE. The motive for enrolling in this course was simply to be benefitted by both Electronics & Computer science field. You need a 94 percentile to be admitted in this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the teachers are good and chill. Some specific teachers can improve their behavior and temper. Most of the professors hold PhD or currently doing PhD side by side with teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Yeah, we do have a separate placement cell here at the institute. This year, an average package is 5.5 LPA, while the highest on-campus package was 20 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No, Vidyalankar Institute of Technology does not provide hostel facilities. However, it can help students in acquiring one near the institute.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus has 7 Blocks in total. The blocks for Admissions are A and M. Electronics department is in E block. There is a separate area for video games and room games (Y block). Other amenities like library, vending machines, and stationery shop is there too. We have 2 grounds for sports and a separate badminton court.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is okay. Crowd is above average. Marathi and English are common languages spoken among students. There are many clubs like CSI-VIT, IEEE club, GDG club (which is the Google's developer group), etc. VIT ‘Verve fest’ is held in every February, you will have a lot of fun at that time.

    Just one word…‘FANTASTIC’. My one year at vidyalankar was fantastic in every aspect. This Institute has very supportive faculty who guides us at every point of time with every difficulty that we face. It has the best state of art infrastructure so far. The Institute environment is so good that it does not feel competitive or struggling journey rather it feels healthy and comfortable just like home.     I Don't know about others but my CET percentile was 90, so at this percentile for me VIT was best option.     VIT is one of the top colleges in Mumbai. With great teaching and non teaching staff it helps the student to align with the goal and work towards it.     I got this college through JEE Mains results but you can also get admission by MHTCET exam which is a state based exam in Maharashtra. So, the college is situated in Vadala where other best colleges of India already are like VJTI and ICT. Our college has very good infrastructure for research and study.
