My Opinion on St. Joseph’s University

Overall Rating
I would recommend St. Joseph’s University to people. You can select which shift you want according to your schedule. The university life is great. The Psychology department is good. Visit the university before you confirm the admission.
 

Academics Rating
My course is Psychology and Optional English. I chose this course because of Psychology and expected optional English to be easy. After joining, I came to understand that Optional English is given a lot of importance and you have to read a lot of texts and articles and analyze it. It is also pretty hard to score marks for optional English.
 

Faculty Rating
The Psychology department faculty is great and understanding. They make topics very interesting and interactive and make sure you understand. The English Department faculty can be a hit or a miss. I have had some great teachers but also some who are not up to the mark.
 

Placement Rating
I personally have not heard about any placement for my course but I am sure teachers would help you out if you asked them. You also have to do your own research.
 

Hostel Rating
TThere is no girl’s hostel as far as I know. The boy’s hostel is decent. The food is average but hygienic. There are plenty of PGs near university for both girls and people.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There is 4 blocks in St. Joseph’s University: Science Block, New Block, Arrupe, and Magis. It is not a huge campus but there is a ground for sports and labs for practical classes. The canteen is really affordable and tasty. There is a library where you can study. It also has computers that you can work on.
 

Campus Rating
There are lots of clubs and extracurricular activities that you can apply for being part. The fests are of great experience. The crowd is nice and you will definitely find someone who you can vibe with. Places like Church Street and Koramangala are not very far from university by auto or cab.

    I think St. Joseph's University along with education also focuses on the holistic development of the students. It offers many options to students to enhance their skills. Students are friendly here and no discrimination against anyone is done. The faculty is highly educated and helps the students whenever they have any issues.
