The Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda is already an esteemed University and I chose to study here because of its name and values. The admission process is simple so there is no hustle regarding that. The office staff here is also hardworking and cooperative. I opted for Mechanical Engineering and got admission in the 1st round itself. If you have an average in your boards then you will definitely get admission here. Fees and charges here are reasonable, as it is government aided. You should choose it if you really want to do polytechnic courses and are serious about your career ahead.

To get admission here in the Mechanical Department then you should have a minimum 70% - 80% in your 12th boards (if you are from General Category). You have to fill your form through ACPDC and after the confirmation of your admission, you have to report to the admin department and submit the required documents. If you are planning to do a job after the completion of your course, then you are enrolled at the right place.

Faculties here are so humble and supportive towards students (if you co-operate with them) and their teaching style reflects experience and excellence. They give you moral support and motivate students for their best attempts in academics and personal life. The professors teach beyond books and push the students to real world problems. For every subject, there are 2 faculties who divide the syllabus between them and easily complete it before exams. No need to study after college hours, you will just need a revision. That is the level of the studies here.

The infrastructure is very beautiful and structured like an old palace. It has separated faculties and departments and the campus is enormous. It covers 1/5th part of the city. Libraries, sports pavilion, multipurpose halls, canteens, hostels, hospital, stationery, all are in the campus, so you don’t need to go outside. Full of trees, peacock and elegant birds around the campus, you will love the environment here.

Overall, the campus life is very good, and the university has many club tie ups with government authorities for the development of students. Events organising is also good and fests are organised every week. Many competitions are conducted between, and festival celebration is also enjoyable.
