Good placements at Chitkara University

Overall Rating
The overall experience has been great at Chitkara University but there is one thing that bothered me was that there were a lot of rules and regulations. You have to wear the Chitkara t-shirt on campus, and it is mandatory, and the scholars are not allowed to exit the campus before 3:30pm or else they must get a gate pass from the respective mentor before going out. The reason I chose this university was because it was near to my home and also, I heard about their good placements.
 

Academics Rating
The overall course structure is well defined according to me but there is one thing that they keep changing every year which is the examination format. One time it was in pen-paper format and next year the university kept MCQs. The admission process is not difficult, and only basic qualification is required.
 

Faculty Rating
Coming to the faculties, I have a mixed point of view. Basically, the teachers who take our lessons are from companies like Coding Blocks, Cantilever, etc. Due to teachers being external, you might get a great teacher or just an average one.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in Chitkara University and recently many different companies have been visiting the campus for placements. Also, it was one of the reasons I took admission in this university.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there are hostel and mess facilities available in the university, but I am a day scholar, so I don’t have much clue about the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Chitkara is great and well maintained by the respective department. There is regular construction going on in the university because they are expanding their campus. There is a building for a canteen for famous food outlets like La Pinoz, Dominos, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent because there are many rules and regulations, and you have to wear a uniform. There are events that are organised like stand-up comedy. The famous stand-up comedian Abhishek Upmanyu is visiting the campus tomorrow for a show but being a day scholar it is not for us as he is visiting at 6 pm and university buses leave at 4:45 pm.

    My Overall Experience has been pretty average at Chitkara University. It both has its ups and downs. At one part, everything is great, you will make great friends, score well if you have studied for it, decent and helpful faculty, but on the other end some parts are not so great.     The university is very good as it provides very good education. The way of teaching of teachers is very good. They teach in very good way. They are always ready to help students.     This is best private university for the students who are unable to clear JEE mains as this university provides us with average packages of 8 LPA. Teachers of this university are very helpful as they are always ready for helping students whenever any doubt arises. Teachers always motivate students to do more and more work so that they can get good package. All over university is full of Wi-Fi and is air conditioned.... Read Full Review

    Starting from the looks of Chitkara University is very beautiful with its lush green environment. It has almost every facility like gym, swimming pool, fast Wi-Fi in whole university, a big cafeteria and for hostellers there are many options to choose from rooms and hostels are well maintained with laundry and mess included.     Overall Rating
    It is one of the best universities in Northern India. It provides various courses like B.E, MBA, BCA, BBA, Pharmacy, etc. Its campus is well and good with modern facilities.
