All About School of Law in Christ University

Overall Rating
I chose this University as it is easily accessible to me. Moreover, it is top private University for Law in Karnataka. This University comes in top 13 Law colleges in India, even above some of the NLUs. The campus is great, clean, and green, which makes it even more appealing to enroll here. It has a good crowd of students with diverse student culture, as we have students from all the states as well as different countries.
 

Academics Rating
The course will have an entrance exam (with two tests). First will be an open round for everyone, to take up the aptitude test, which will have 120 questions. If you get through this round, you have 2nd round, which is an interview round. You will be questioned for your ability to think. A presentation topic will be given on spot to prepare, think, and present. You will be eligible for this exam if you have minimum 45% in grade 12th exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are very friendly and approachable. They are very qualified and have a good career history. They are ready to assist you in any research work. Faculty - student interactions are also good. Their teaching is of good quality and mostly it is application based, with a lot of discussions and knowledge to be gained. However, attaining marks is quite difficult here as there is a very strict marking rule. The toppers get above 70% only and it is considered merit.
 

Placement Rating
We have separate internships and placement cells. It provides internships to students until 4th year and placements drive begins once you are in 5th year. Top Law firms come for recruitment in drive.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is only for female students in Christ University with limited rooms. This hostel is within the campus. other students prefer getting an apartment nearby or stay in a PGs.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has 7 blocks in Christ University. These blocks are divided according to courses. Our Law school is in the central block with 10 floors. The infrastructure is quite good and consistent. There are canteens in every block and many utilities are available for students and teachers. There are 3 to 4 libraries in campus with one big central library of 4 floors. There are playgrounds and every sport facility is available for students to use to prepare for competitions and tournaments.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is a great place to make a lot of friends and connections. There is diversity in students who attend classes here so you will be able to fit in to every group of people if you are welcoming or an extrovert person. There are a lot of fests and events hosted by every department, campus. There is a strict dress code on wearing formals or traditional as mandated by the rules.

    The overall experience at Christ University main campus, Bangalore is actually too good. The courses are very well designed. Apart from education it focuses on holistic development of an individual. Christ university teaches a lot to their children about the mission, vision and core values of the university.     The reason I chose to join Christ was because it was ranked no. 1 for BCA in India, so I thought that it would be a good base for my future.
