Comprehensive Review on G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology

Overall Rating
I am studying in third year in G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology. My experience in my college has been good so far. The college is located in good surroundings. Moreover, I opted this college though EAMCET. I got into this college at third counseling. I would recommend this college particularly for hostel. There is a good security especially for girls. In addition, I say that this is best college for girls.
 

Academics Rating
I opted for Computer Science & Engineering course. There are many ways to choose this college. There is fee reimbursement way where government pays fee of this college. Another way to choose this college is through management quota. I have been interested in computer since childhood, which pushed me to choose this course. Moreover, I have been interested in Software Engineering since my childhood. Students who have completed Intermediate and Diploma can opt for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are interacting with the students. Their behavior shows friendly nature. If we think about every perspective, they are working hard to teach us. However, their style of teaching is not up to the mark. My favorite teacher in first year was HOD Mam. I like her way of teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a placement cell at our institute. I do not know much about the placement cell. I have heard from my seniors and faculty that placements are based on the skills of the students. The highest package received by student is 24 LPA. The lowest or average package is 3 to 4 LPA. I wish that my college worked over building skills in the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is hostel facility for students. These hostels are good. However, mess food needs to be improved. When it comes to infrastructure, these hostels are well-built. Parents are allowed to visit only from 10 AM to 5 PM. The canteen is available at hostel premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
My college’s infrastructure is good and well designed. There are 3 blocks in our college. First big block is for first year students only. There is CSE block and ECE block. CSE block is for Computer Science students only but in ECE block, Mechanical and Civil Engineering students also take classes. Academic books are available in library. Besides these blocks, we also have workshop laboratory, sports room, experimental labs, canteen, etc. When it comes to sports, there is a large ground to play along with basketball court.
 

Campus Rating
There are 2 types of fests in the college. One is freshers for first and second year students. Another is farewell for third and fourth year students. Now as the time passes by, my college is celebrating teacher’s day, and women's day also. Overall campus life is good but it could increase the number of fests. IEEE members in G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology organize activities like quiz, essay, technical event, and treasure.

    Firstly, the college is very good for students. The campus is beautiful. This college has all the different streams. The college has so many facilities like hostel, labs, classrooms, and canteen. The food in the canteen and hostel is good. The college fee is less when compared to other colleges in Kurnool. The campus is very trusted by the parents and students. This college teaches a lot.     According to me, my college is one of the best colleges in our city with an overall good infrastructure and faculty. Each and every faculty is really very friendly with the students but the only problem is that some of the faculty still do not have in-depth knowledge of what they are teaching, they just know the theoretical knowledge but when it comes to practical few faculty still lag behind.     Hi there!! I am an alumna of this college known as GPCET. I have passed out in 2015. So I am here to review our college. So our college was still affiliated to JNTUA when I was studying but presently its only second autonomous college in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh state.
