Memorable Journey in St. Thomas College Palai

Overall Rating
The College was commenced in 1950. It is one among the best boy’s college, which we can found in the country. Here the teachers are so helpful. The hostel facilities, campus, infrastructure, everything makes us to stay here and grow with college.
 

Academics Rating
I have completed my Bachelor's from St Thomas in 2019-2022 session where admission process was through CAP where we apply to different colleges and according to the merit, we get admission. From 2024 onwards, the process changed as it became where autonomous so the admission process are through Fee structure. Only 55% marks in 12th standard are needed for admission.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are well educated from reputed universities. The faculty is very quick and knows how to handle students and make them achieve their goal. Teaching styles are also different. Most of the teachers have huge teaching experience.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, St. Thomas has its own placement cell, which helps students for campus interview. They train students for interviews and how to work in that department.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, St. Thomas has its hostel inside the campus. Hostlers can always use playground, Tennis Court, Swimming pool, basketball, football, cricket, and several indoor games for recreation. Double sharing rooms are available with all the basic amenities. Mess offers varieties of food options (no non-vegetarian food on Fridays).
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has area of around 20-25 acres, where students have everything as they need. The location is ideal. It has good architecture with modern requirements. Canteen, food courts, game centers hostel facilities, and playgrounds make it more interesting.
 

Campus Rating
Three-year campus life was the most memorable period in my life. Class activities, departmental fests, and cultural fests, everything was best.
