One of the best institutes in Bhopal

Overall Rating
The institute is overall good and facilities that are provided could be much better but college life is excellent. I chose this college due to the location factor as Bhopal is developing and it is in the center of India which makes it nearer to tier-1 cities.
 

Academics Rating
My branch is Mechanical Engineering. This course requires you to score good percentile in JEE main examination which is around 97-98 (if you are from general category) for admission. My motive to enroll in this program was that I wanted a good government job and after discussing with my friends and alumni of this college, I came to know that my branch will provide me the required opportunities.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties here are excellent with some professors having a Ph.D. degree from prestigious institutes like IITs, NITs and other excellent institutes from overseas. However, few professors encourage rote learning which I don’t consider to be beneficial. Overall, the professors have a unique style of teaching including pictorial representation, connecting topics to real life problems and other methods.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a Placement Cell in my institute. The placements are overall good compared to other institutes. Mechanical Engineering has the highest package of 20 LPA and average package of 10 LPA (considering data of 2023)
 

Hostel Rating
There are a total of 15 hostels in MANIT for all students including B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, Ph.D and other degrees. The hostel life is outstanding as we enjoy a lot with friends which includes group studies, night outs, birthday parties and a lot more. Hostel infrastructure is good, but water supply is not frequent at times.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MANIT has a lush green campus of about 650 acres. College infrastructure is good but some places need proper cleaning. We have a sports complex where we can play any type of indoor or outdoor sports. The college also organises inter NITs sports meet annually where good players can showcase their talent.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, the campus life is excellent. The crowd is good, and boy's and girl's ratio are 4:1. There are various cultural and educational clubs to take part in like robotics, dance, etc. An annual cultural fest is also organised named 'Maffick'. Students are also involved in other engagement activities.

  • Starting a new journey at MANIT

    I got admission in MANIT, Bhopal through CSAB special round (2024). I was happy because I am from Kanpur, UP and Bhopal is near compared to other cities so, it is easy to travel. I visited the campus with my family for the admission process and we were pleasantly surprised by the large and lush green campus, made on a plateau.     Being a Manitian, I would say this institute is an awesome place to complete your B.Tech for your overall personality development and to gain practical knowledge. I chose the Electrical Engineering branch because I have an interest in learning and working on electrical gadgets. You get every required machine here which is a plus point of this institute....
