My Personal Opinion over MSRUAS

Overall Rating
MSRUAS provides many Biotechnology courses and one I am pursuing B.Sc (Hons.) Biotechnology. It has one of the best faculties with best laboratory equipment. It is a 3+1 year duration course. Moreover, the annual fee is ₹175000/-. It covers all the broad domains and areas of Biotechnology properly
 

Academics Rating
For entry, an online test that you need to pass to get admission in MSRUAS is RUAS-AT and based on that you will get admission. Motive of enrolling is to understand modern industrial Biotechnology and its broad collaborations can help student grow learn better.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very much-experienced scholars. For core subjects, two professors are appointed. Moreover, their subject oriented knowledge and method of teaching is phenomenal. They understand requirement and you will have enough time for exploring and learning in the labs.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, MSRUAS does have its own placement cell. It helps students to get job but at the same time, highest CTC has been 8 LPA. Hence, the university needs to make efforts to improve the offered CTC during drive.
 

Hostel Rating
There are more than 15 hostels under MSRUAS and all of them provide mess facility. The allocated rooms are very clean and proper with minimal fee of ₹60000 per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The university is as big as 100 square acres. It has many blocks for diverse courses. All the amenities and facilities are available. Moreover, it has the most advanced labs for practice.
 

Campus Rating
The university organizes best cultural fest of Bangalore, ‘Akaira’ (awarded by Bangalore Cultural Community). It has more than 30-40 clubs with lots of exposure and networks. However, it has a huge crowd, which is why it is hard to run a club properly. Talking about the campus life, for a biotechnology, it is hectic.

    This university provides opportunities for students to shape their career and offers quality education. This university has a very good infrastructure and teachers.     To be honest college is very boring. No scope of sports activities and extracurricular activities. I took admission in the year 2022 thinking college would be better. But the reality was different from my expectations. No college fest, sports, or anything is held frequently. Now I am feeling like why the hell I took this college to pursue my B.Pharm.   • The burden of syllabus is too high at MSRUAS
     

    Overall Rating
    The experiences I faced from 2015 to 2018 aren't that promising. For B. Com, there are no placements. Without that, too, all the promises that the University made, they failed to deliver on that. The department of examination is the worst that I have seen. I once requested them to give my marks card and they took almost a month to hand it over to me. Other courses are fine here, but not B.
