Lively environment in Techno Main Salt Lake

Overall Rating
I'll definitely recommend TMSL. It is one of the best institutes for pursuing BCA. It has a great environment, good campus and friendly seniors. We also have an anti-ragging squad to protect the freshers. Academic pressure isn't too harsh, and you can enjoy your college life as well as build your future; faculties are helpful in this institute. Overall, the experience was excellent.
 

Academics Rating
My stream is BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). Fees structure around Rs.3, 00,000/- to Rs.4, 00,000/- which is quite expensive. During my admission, it was Rs.45, 000/- per semester. Payment can be done via Bank or net banking. There's also a fine of Rs.500/- by the institute, if the course fees payment gets delayed. To get admissions, you need to appear for an entrance exam called CET and must have at least 60% in your 12th result. The percentage criteria may vary for students from different boards.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are pretty well-trained and experienced. Many of them are Ph.D. holders who have a great knowledge of Technology. They're very helpful. Once I asked for a favor, unrelated to academics and they still helped me. I’m very satisfied with their teaching styles as well.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell in the institute. The placement activity starts from 3rd year onwards and the average salary is 3LPA - 3.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute doesn't have its own hostel, but you can find plenty of shareable flats and PGs near the campus at an affordable price.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Modern, neat and clean buildings with several washrooms with mirrors. Air-conditioned classrooms, library, lift are available in the BCA building as well as in the B.Tech building. Vending machines for sanitary napkins, Xerox shop & canteen are also present in the campus. There are 2 huge playgrounds for sports.
 

Campus Rating
Best college life ever. There are so many activities & clubs as per your choices. Many Quizzards, Tech games, e-gaming (PUBG, Valorant and CS-GO) competitions are organised. Games rooms available with indoor games like carom, table tennis, etc. As well as outdoor games like cricket, football, volleyball are also available. Overall, excellent experience.

    The overall experience is good because it has decent and understanding faculties along with humble and supportive seniors. The reason why I chose this college was its affordability, its decent placements, and minimal living expenses of Kolkata.     First day when I entered in my college TMSL Kolkata. It has a big campus with a huge two playgrounds, 2 cafeterias, and one big auditorium. At a first glance, it is very fascinating for me. When I started to attend the classes, I came to know about my faculty members who are highly educated from top universities. Fests are being conducted after every few months.     Overall this is an average college but due to its location it has upper hand in this field. It is located in IT HUB of Kolkata so there are so many opportunity for the students to excel. Students getting placements in large scale companies and good package. You enjoy college life with your friends. College provides you placements at good package.
