My perspective about PSG College of Arts and Science

Overall Rating
PSG College of Arts and Science are internationally known and well-established. I choose this college because it is affordable and provides good education with healthy environment and approachable students and management. Comparatively this college provides various other activities with the course completion.
 

Academics Rating
The course provides 2 core subjects with one allied subject that differs each semester and 2 languages for first 2 year (English and second language (Tamil / Hindi / French)). The students must attain 90% in CBSE to get through the counseling process. My motive to enroll in this course is to improve myself and understand others better.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in our department is young and approachable. They are friendly and understands the students perspective easily rather than being rigid with restrictions. They teach us with real life examples which help us to understand easier.
 

Placement Rating
Generally there is no placement for Bachelors in Psychology. Mostly students prefer to do their higher education abroad because the scope and salary are good there. But at general the college offers us with noncore placements with Rs. 22,000 per month package.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides us with well set rooms with cleaning every 2 days. The infrastructure is spacious. It depends on the room and the hostel type you choose to enroll in. The hostel mess provided 3 different dishes every time. The restrictions for girls are quite strict in timing and dressing.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different blocks in our college. The well known commerce block is well furnished and crowded whereas other blocks are old but not much crowded. The library is enormous with various book volumes. The college has lush green surroundings.
 

Campus Rating
PSG College of Arts and Science have 30 clubs and forums that are friendly and engaging. It organises various events and cultural fests which helps in interaction and socialization. It helps various people to showcase their talent and show their innovation and creativity. It helps in improving their skills and qualities. Currently I am a secretary of Aram Forum Club, member of anti-drug club and event organizer in my department.

    First of all, when I finished my schooling, I was searching for a reputed college, and then I got into this college after knowing that it is known for 75 years of excellence and has good reputation among people. It is one of the best colleges in India and several people from other states are coming here to pursue their higher studies.
