Critical Review of MBM University

Overall Rating
Overall MBM University is a good university for students. Placements are good. Nonetheless, overall it is average. Its infrastructure is a little old and hostel has fewer seats.
 

Academics Rating
If we talk about academics, then I will say that it has some issues as if we have to study all subjects so 1st year is a little hectic. For the entry requirements, I say if you achieved 70000 rank in NIT, you can get any branch in a university. It has reservation for other categories. It takes admission based on JEE Mains and Diploma. Therefore, you can get admission by both (Diploma for lateral entry).
 

Faculty Rating
If we talk about faculty then I say than we cannot make single comment for the entire faculty. Some faculties take their subjects seriously and teach properly. For 1st year, we have mostly teachers who teach through old teaching style. We have labs and lectures both so that we can understand clearly. Some students understand the topics through professor's lectures while others have to study online for getting more information and better understanding, so you can do as you see fit.
 

Placement Rating
If we talk about placements then yes, we have placement cell in MBM university. It helps students in acquiring jobs. We get average CTC in our university, however if you work hard you can get off campus placement in a good company for tech branch. As for core sector, it offers good placement in Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical. Therefore, you can attempt giving interviews during campus drive if you want a core sector job.
 

Hostel Rating
If we talk about hostels, then there is one issue and it is the fact that they are outside the MBM’s main campus. All the hostels are on same place but they are about 1 KM away from lecture halls. Subsequently, students have to go outside to eat if they do not want to be late in class. Other than that, all the services in hostels are good. The food is also good and students have no complaint about it.
 

Infrastructure Rating
On the behalf of infrastructure, I would say that it is not up to the mark. After its construction, it had barely any renovation. The building where 1st year class held needs immediate renovation. Solely CSE building is in good state otherwise all have issues (small ones). It has canteen that also needs revamping.
 

Campus Rating
If we talk about campus life in MBM University, I would say it is good. We have competitions like building a Catapult, Sports Tournament, etc. We also have dandiya festival and so on. All the seniors are very helpful so we do not have much problem. overall I would say it is very gratifying.

    This university is Rajasthan's oldest university. My experience here is average, as it has an average infrastructure needs development. As per statistics, the placements are good and there are many clubs in the university helping students to develop their personality. Overall, this university is a standard government university.     Overall Rating
    MBM University is the best Engineering University in Rajasthan. It is mainly famous for its education forte in its core branches. It is beneficial for those students who want reduced class schedule and a light environment. There is only 5 hours of scheduled class including lab work which gives you the extra time for indulging in other tasks and activities.... Read Full Review

    MBM University is good educational body. Many activities such as cultural, sports, making art, etc are organized regularly. There is different department for each branch. The placements are also good. There is a NCC camp too.... Read Full Review

    Overall Rating
    University life is very good. Tech fests are also conducted in the university. The faculty members are really good in teaching. Sports facilities are available in the university and there are many active clubs here. Average placement is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. It’s a government university, so the fee is much less as compared to a private university. The university is quite good in terms of academics & technology.... Read Full Review

    In my collage slowly tech culture developed in which our senior always made efforts. Many type of tech club are active here regarding coding like spark club, etc. In summer vacation they give us opportunity to make robotics, etc. Our teachers and senior told us about hackathon that how we can participate in them by making a strong team.
